Does anyone else feel like we're losing this one?

With all due respect, I'm pretty sure if it was just a cut on his knuckle, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Sure we would because as of now we don’t know it isn’t just a cut on the knuckle.

The point is we really have no idea the extent of the injury and if it will have any effect at all.

This discussion is based on a whole lot of speculation so whether it is just a minor meaningless thing or brady will not be playing, we’d be having the same discussion. Without facts, those prone to pessimism are convinced of the worst. Thise probe to optimism aren’t really concerned.

Gasper seconds ago on 98.5..."unnamed Jacksonville player said BEFORE the Pittsburgh game that they (Jacksonville) fear the Pittsburgh game more than a game Vs New England. Said player thinks they match up better Vs NE than they do Vs Pittsburgh"...the player feels NE is an easier match-up... This concerns me now... And I do recall back in camp w those stupid ****ing joint practices there were lots of reports about the Jacksonville secondary locking down NE receivers...

Dear G-d,

Please make kickoff come soon...or at least, maybe make people less dumb? I know it's a lot to ask, but I'm stepping up from asking for millions of dollars and sexy *****es at my side and a pet tiger, so maybe throw some of us down here a much needed bone?

Amen

Since I'm not sure how bad Brady's thumb injury is, I'm also not sure how to feel about this one. Even if the offense puts up a stinker, I'm figuring the Jags to put up anywhere from 10-17, max. The Pats also match up with them well defensively (considering Fournette is coming into this one injured). I think the Pats can manage north of 17 if Brady is even 70% Brady.

Give it to me straight, am I just being a chicken little on this?

The whole nonsense with the Hand, the distraction, maybe I'm falling for the Media BS but man I've just had this feeling all week.

Nope. I've been feeling good about this game all week. Especially after seeing the performance the defense had last week. That was the best I had seen them all year. They have been improving week after week and are peaking at the right time.

The Pats are going to run away with this game by the fourth quarter.

Imo, people are jacking up the wrong defense.

Don't forget it's a complimentary game. I'll take the Pats Offense and Defense over the Jags any day of the week.

This should be a very wild entertaining game! I'm trying to make myself scared but it's not working. I've seen it all with this team! From the David Tyree catch and us being so close to a perfect season, the Wes Welker drop that would've given us revenge vs the Giants and the 28-3 comeback in Superbowl 51! I fear no man but God at this point!

This game is going one of two ways:

1) Exactly how you described (close, low scoring loss)
2) Complete domination by NE (lopsided win)

I really don't know which one it will be.

I think the Patriots could beat this team in a close, low scoring game.

the offense is going to need to stay on the field and sustain drives, whether its Brady at less than 100% or Hoyer...

It is what it is, no use worrying about sh.t you can’t control. I see them winning this in whatever way they have to. This franchise knows how to win big games, and this time they will have to find a way with Brady hampered.

If they can get through Sunday Brady gets two weeks of Guerrero massaging his thumb 24 hours a day.

Or maybe he will stick his hand in a mini hyperbaric chamber?

Im looking forward to game time, I tuned out the bullsh.t.

Usual Good Pats Fans Poster move is to get really angry that ESPN would dare question the Patriots' dominance in the days up to the game, declare everyone is biased against them, and then just completely melt down in the game thread the first time a pass falls incomplete.

Man. You're tearing it up today Prime. hahah

Even if so, Jags could score points on defense. They’re known for their turnovers.

I have never been more confident. Enjoy the ride

That unnamed player sounds like a moron... if he even exists. They match up much better against Pittsburgh than they do against the Patriots.

Ain't that the truth. I knew the defense was good, but when I went over the numbers, their performance since October is stunning...out****ingrageous. If these media analysts spent more time looking at the numbers and film and less time forming hawt taeks, it'd be well known.

But I'm good with the relative underdog role the D has right now.

We would win this one with Rohan Davey under center.

We still win by 2 scores if the unthinkable happens and Hoyer plays.
