This team has seemed unfocused since they got back from Mexico. I wonder what is going on. Injuries hurt, but the team just hasn't been themselves since playing the Raiders.
This is how the Steelers win. Pats need to get them off the field quicker in the second half. And I don't think FGs are going to cut it, they might have to score every drive for the rest of the game.
You mean the first one that Brady called on the field ? Or the second one where they actually called it to have some time in case we hold after getting the Steelers to 2nd & 6 ?
- #66 of the Steelers was 5 yards downfield before Ben threw the ball on the 1st TD to Rogers.
- AluAlu hit Brady late. He took more then 1 step.
- Bell was given an extremely generous spot after being more than half a yard shy of the 1st down marker.
- How was Bryant not called for OPI? He clearly kept his arm out preventing Gilmore from getting by him.. If Gronk had done that, the a flag would have been thrown immediately.
Can someone explain why when any other QB dumps the ball off inside 10 yards, there are not Pats defenders within 5 yards......but the Pats receivers are wearing coverage like tight fitting suits??
This team's 30 minutes from falling to the 3rd seed unless they dramatically come out on fire. This offense has been kind of dissapointing lately even going back to the game where they scored 23 points.
Yep, I'm not that down on the defense. BR made some perfect throws against otherwise good coverage. Both defenses have managed to get one stop, otherwise the offenses have scored every time they had the ball. The difference is that Pitt had an extra possession, and the Pats left 4 points on the board on their third possession.
Onto the second half. I'm frustrated but still plenty optimistic.
