No doubt but even if they beat Pittsburgh they have to win out because the steelers have two winning games to end the season. If the pats win they would be 11-3 and so would Pittsburgh. Had they won tonight and next week they would have a two game cushion.

Nobody wants to ask Bill a question LOL
Watching the BB presser it seems the press is totally cowed by him.

Q: "Can you explain what happened on the onside kick?"

BB: "They recovered it."

A good team can play a bad game, especially when short-handed. A bad team can sometimes put it all together, for a day, especially at home.

Good teams put themselves in a position for a #1 seed if they can only close out the season with 3 wins.

Now it is winning time.

That's why I thought this game was big tonight. Now basically they have to beat Pittsburgh at all costs. I still don't understand why this team continues to struggle in Miami.
It’s sub-freezing in Boston right now and it was a high of over 70 degrees in Miami with over 70% humidity today, half the team is sick and the other half is hurt. It happens.

Who cares ?

If I were you I would be less concerned about trying to predict seeding scenarios and more about the injury reports. The seeding will not decide how this season ends but how fast we can get some of our LBs and DEs back onto the field and hopefully not suffer additional injuries (e.g. Branch and Chung).

That's nothing new. The guy's expression never changes lol.

Fair enough. I put most of the blame on the underthrow. Howard made a great play showing nice recovery speed. Cooks could’ve done more to at least break up the pass.
He thought it was in his breadbasket, sometimes you have to give the defender props.

What does that have to do with anything?
This board isn't as bad after losses after other boards I have read. People are allowed to vent after a loss. I agree there is stupidity among some of the venting posts, but as adults we can ignore them.

The question here is (and I think I know the answer): if they had a 2 game cushion and then they lost a game after that, would you still be in a panic?

It shouldn’t be. We are the best team in the league and gave win 2 of the last 3 SBS a d are currently the favorite to win this year
We are supposed to act like the bengals after a rare loss? That’s nuts

Everyone has injuries but I though the defense did it's job tonight. It got the stops when it mattered but the offense was pathetic! Chung could be a huge lost i will give you that.

But, I didn't think both teams would run the table. This is the NFL, it's hard to win 8-10 in a row.

I was beginning to think there was some brothel they couldn't resist visiting every time they went to Miami, and it was throwing them off.

Side note:

The NFL rule changes have essentially ruined the onsides kick
What were the changes? Limiting how many guys on one side of the ball?
