Lke I said in the other thread ... when you have that and it's bad sleeping becomes unbearable, it's brutal.

I am sure that was a factor in hs decision - cannot stay healthy if you cannot get decent sleep.

Presumably the hamstring issues pushed him over the edge, considering he was comfortable enough to play with the shoulder problem for two games. Unless he injured it further without us knowing.

It was worth the gamble. We'll see if he's back next year.

Sounds like he wanted to get surgery with Green Bay, but was willing to try to gut it out for Bill. In the end, it was too much though. Worth a shot for short money, and they can see where his offseason goes before making any decisions for next year. Get well either way Marty! You helped us win one, you'll always be alright in my book.
