In 08 the defender lunged up from the ground. Very similar

I get what Romo is saying and he has a point about those hits down low. However, it is just easier to make it totally black and white and not risk any hits down there at all.

Yeah, I agree generally because Mack actually didn't make an unsafe play, but prefer a rule where the official isn't forced to make a spot decision about whether a play was dangerous in his mind.

Looks like another winning season. No worse than 9-7 the rest of the way. Hoping for 14-2 crosses fingers. Can't believe the run we've witnessed.

Someone called a 29 yarder epic call

If they hold the Raiders off the scoreboard here I’m content with seeing some Hoyer

Romo choking up talking about his reception in mexico City

To be fair to Numero1's point the Pats did leave points on the board but part of that is cause of lack of urgency. No need to force anything since being up 24-0. Key is just don't make a mistake when you can get 3 more as long as you have a 20+ lead.

The Falcons would attest to how important it is to just play safe and get 3 with a big lead

I swear Tom will say that post game.

He'll say we were fortunate to get away with the win, not taking anything away from the Raiders, they fought for every yard, a lot of little things went our way. But at the same time, he felt like he personally didn't execute well enough on some plays. But hey it's a win, and fortunately those things did go our way...
