Miami isn’t incompetent unless cutler is back. Moore doesn’t suck and they have a good runner and some receiving weapons.Even if he's really done for the year, the rest of the regular season schedule looks good, with only 1 competent offense left - and this happens to be a team that struggles mightily against NE.
In the postseason, the team could end up playing two of Houston/KC/Pitt, which have been very good offenses so far. However, NE has already beaten Houston without Hightower during a period where the communication issues still plagued the defense, KC hasn't won a playoff game since dinosaurs still walked the Earth and they always look horrible in January, and I already covered Pittsburgh's issues vs NE.
The team can't afford anymore key injuries, though.
There were a bunch of LTBE incentives that the Patriots will get credit for this year and will become UTBE incentives next year and will get credit for as well..

Not a ton to worry about but we don’t habe a lot of wiggle room for the 1 seed.
You forgot 2015 where the 16 O-line members all had injury issues.
Peppers signed with Carolina a long time ago.. Freeney just signed with the Seahawks.
I do find it interesting that the Pats didn't sign Akeem Ayers after they worked him out a few weeks ago. Wonder if that says there is a character flaw that they found that they don't want to deal with..
Hell, Simeon Rice talked about still being in shape and willing to suit up if the Bucs called.. No harm in calling him and seeing what he's got left.. *GRIN*
Me over cutler would be a major improvement.Moore is an upgrade over Cutler, but that offense isn't going to go from dead last to a respectable offense because of Moore.
Well when your QB breaks a bone in his back you can look pedestrian.Oakland has looked very pedestrian on offense this season, and their defense is a sieve, with no sign of improvement in sight.
According to schefter there is a chance you can log in once more and find out it’s not season endingLog in last night and learn the he needs to sit for a few weeks. Log in today and learn his year is over. I certainly am saddened and disappointed.
It’s on backorder behind the:ugh thread merging is making this annoying af.
Came to say we need more than the main emojis here we need a sad emoji at patsfans.
He's only been a pivotal part in ensuring two Super Bowls no big deal. Overrated. Horrible.

They need to plan on him being out more often than not. That’s something they need to take care of in the draft/free agency
Can’t count on him
Sorry, I hate this comment. A lot of people say it. Unless BB has some time machine we don't know about, he is paying on past production. Or at least 90% past production, otherwise what are you basing your projected future production on? Players get injured, it is what it is. Hightower has powered through injuries on both Super Bowl runs and contributed immensely in both so BB was probably paying him with the thought that he could probably contribute immensely in a future Super Bowl.BB pays for future production, not past. I wanted HT back, we all wanted, BB had a number in his mind and didn't bother in Hightower visiting other teams. I think his number (10 Mi a year) was already accounting for missing some 3 or 4 games. HT is still worth that, but there was definitely a risk of him going into the IR path down the road in future years, the guy is huge and has had knee and shoulder problems, and play LB needless to say.
Honestly BB might have been into a corner where he had no choice, if we had a replacement already in place or ammo for trades I'm not sure he would be back. I think he wouldn't even with the situation at the time if others teams offered 2Mi more.
You better not log in tomorrow.
