After Gronk we don’t have anyone that can catch a ball. Need another tight end, what’s next year draft class like as far as tight ends go? Any value in the 2nd or 3rd round?

Dwayne Allen? Lol. 5 weeks and he hasn’t done anything.
Hollister 1 catch last time I checked before he got hit hard and haven’t seen him since.

As much as we would like better catch statistics for Allen, he needs more targets unless he somehow throws the ball to himself.

FYI Allen has 6 "targets" so far this year.. he also has played 149 "snaps" in the first 5 games..

If Brady develops confidence in Allen things will change.. it is difficult to tell if he is not open or if Brady is choosing not to throw to him.

Unless he gets his **** together, I see Allen going down the depth chart fast. His run blocking in the last game was pretty bad, and that was the one area he could have made himself very useful.

The fluky one-handed catch part aside, both Hollister and Allen could easily make that same play running the same route if they were covered poorly like Derby was there, and if Brady threw them the ball.

We celebrate these "amazing one-handed catches", but a lot of the time they have to be one-handed because the throw was ****.
