Yeah, Matt Ryan has definitely progressed as a quarterback and could easily dominate the NFC and NFL for the next six seasons. Id go even far as saying a Patriots / Falcons SB rematch is definitely plausible.

I think people here have been so spoiled by Brady that they've lost all sense of reason when it comes to the QB position, both when it comes to style and when it comes to apparent play level mixed with actual results.

Most people would consider

Brady
Peyton
Brees
Roethlisberger
Rodgers

as the 5 best QBs of the current era. Now, we're talking the best 5 QBs in the last 15+ years. Of those 5

Only Brady's never had a non losing full season as a starting QB after his rookie year (though Rodgers' 6-10 year was his first season as a starting QB, so there's a valid quibble factor to look at there)

So, even the very best of the very best, except for TB12, have all had losing seasons.

Week 1... Giants/Dallas - boring, Seattle/GB - boring.

Week 2... GB/Falcons - boring, Dallas/Denver - boring.

The only decent prime time game so far against supposed top teams has been Pats/KC but sadly I could not enjoy that.

Buffalo Bills' offense horrendous in 9-3 loss to the Carolina Panthers

That was tough to watch, and the sad part is that Buffalo Bills fans may have to get used to more of it in 2017.

Everyone knew there were going to be days like this for the undermanned Buffalo offense, and when it happened Sunday at Bank of America Stadium, it was downright ugly. The Bills put forth one of the most anemic performances in recent memory in losing 9-3 to the Panthers...

The Bills finished with 176 total yards, and McCoy gained nine yards on 12 carries.

The Bills could not possibly have played a worse first half of offense. They managed one first down in the first 30 minutes, and that came because of a Taylor scramble to convert a third-and-7 early in the second quarter.

Taylor had six net yards passing, and the Bills had 39 yards as a team. It was as ugly as the numbers would indicate.​

Ages ago, when there was an impression McCarthy could be a top coach. He's not. Back then I think Mark Sanchez was an up and coming starter. Just to have an idea how far that SB run dates. The picture of the league has changed and honestly even with one of the greats at the most important position in all major leagues I think they are going nowhere, anymore.

I understand that the formula for a winning team is balance between the 2 sides of the ball but with limited resources, sometimes you have to load in one side and try to get by with the other, Green Bay has never done either one, during all these years they never had an elite defense or offense. Rodgers has been doing more with less just like Brady did during the majority of his NFL career.
