People need to realize Mitchell has always had a shaky injury history dating back to college.. the guy is very injury prone


BB has certainly struggled to draft durable WRs....Jackson, tate, price, Dobson, Lucien, Boyce, Mitchell

Hopefully this won't be a huge setback for Malcolm.

Carr isn't that good! Not much of an athlete and his times in the drills leave something to be desired. Besides color of skin, he has nothing in common with welker Edelman or amendola

Because he had a decent to good preseason. Made a highlight reel TD catch and was a fun guy to watch. His pro day stats weren't as bad as you seem to think they were. I'm not saying he could have replicated Edelman's production but he could have helped the team imo.

Weird. I don't think they would have risked putting Karras through waivers if they had known this spot was available, so something must have happened with Mitchell in practice this week.

1. Mitchell had to be on the initial 53 if they want him back this season.
2. They probably waited till now to keep Mitchell part of KC gameplanning.
3. Giving Mitchell more time to heal and having another weapon coming in fresh for the second part of the season doesn't sound so bad.

Having the top IOL backup (and the only C backup) on the roster is not bad either..

Have you noticed a trend in recent years? A super injury prone season (2013, 2015) followed by a season with relatively few injuries (2014 SB, 2016SB). With less injuries we probably would've been celebrating a threepeat tonight and that's the only thing that can stop us this season. So far, not an encouraging start on that front.
