This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

Finally, something original. Keep it up Tuney.
Something you should keep in mind, KickMe2018: push it too far and people will start putting you on ignore. That, in turn, puts you at risk of not getting the (negative) attention you bizarrely crave. Push things further and you risk being banned.

This is the JETS SUCK thread, NOT the "Lets Chat About the Jets' 50-Year Rebuilding Plan" thread. Your team is loathed and so are obnoxious Jete fans. If you want civil discourse, go elsewhere.

In 2013 a Browns fan died. He put in his will that he wanted members of the team to be his pallbearers, so that they could let him down one more time. Same story just circulated in august about an Eagles fan.

I smell urban legend. But on the other hand, they could all just be JETE copycats.
Some learn to accept it to cope. Some people develop amnesia for a coping mechanism. 79 copes by redefining good and bad. Losing is good and winning is bad. Avoiding a kick in the balls is bad. Getting kicked in the balls is good.

I can't control if some ignore me. All I can do is respect the others, joke around when called for, and have some good conversation when possible.

You're free to do whatever ya like Tuney. Ignore. Post nut shot pics. Disrespect and try to be offensive all ya like.

Your call. Doesn't bother me one way or the other.

cheers.

We can debate how good Rex was in 2010 but his last five years as a HC was absolutely atrocious. Buffalo in particular was mailing it in to the extreme, having a good defense crumble under his watch. It reminds me of Phil Jackson with the Knicks, trying to force players into an outdated system. Both Rex and Phil were also lazy as ****. Hilariously Rex stumbled into the best offense of his HC career last year, for which he should get the smallest modicum of credit possible.

So great. He had one big win in 2010. Tony Sparano cleaned Belichick's clock once too. Pretending Rex is anything but a gimmick whose time is past is delusional, or par for the course for a Jets fan.

Fun Rex Ryan fact: In an era where the rules of the game are geared to the passing game and QB and receiver stats have exploded, Rex's teams produced only one 1000 yard receiver (Sammy Watkins in 2015.) Going with a "ground and pound" offense might have worked fine in 1985 or 1992, but not in the last decade.

Also, is Jeff Fisher a better coach than Rex? He actually coached a team to a SB.

What an absolute crock. You're not here to "respect others," KickMe2018, so cut the crap. You're here to troll. Try as you might, your true intentions seep through the aw shucks nicey nice B.S. You are a loser fan of a loser organization with a bizarre craving for abuse. I've seen your posts about this thread on your Jete site where you crow about what a hoot it is. You're as disingenuous as it gets. Along with being pretty damn weird, you suck.

Stumbled across this Jete roster projection just now. Other than the defensive line there is a whole lot of who, what, huh, and violent head shakes at who is projected to start on this team. Even for this franchise, this is a new low: a team could very well make the 1976 Tampa Bay Bucs look like world beaters.

Jets' 53-man roster projection 5.0: Secondary set after McDougle trade

The group at wide receiver is particularly amusing for a team that will constantly be playing from behind.

Starters: Robby Anderson, Ardarius Stewart
Backups: Chad Hansen, Kenbrell Thompkins, Frankie Hammond, Chris Harper, Charone Peake

While we still have no clue who else will start opposite Robby Anderson on opening day...

"the opening scene of "Jet Fan On Parade in 2017"...

" Hi there! I'm Jet fan and I'd like ....*thud*......(close scene)"

So...uh, yeah...Jete suck...to the everlasting dismay of their tardical torture troops..the Jet Fan...

Kenbrell Thompkins and Chris Harper. The very best of the Patriots Practice Squad.

Unfortunately for us, KT played some meaningful minutes for us two years ago, but he couldn't hang on to the ball, especially over the middle.

Here's what Rotoworld wrote about him:

The 29-year-old has been floundering since he left the Patriots. Thompkins spent some time with the Jets the previous two years but has been a non-factor. He'll compete for one of the team's final roster spots.

In other words, he's a perfect JETE!

Lynn Swann + John Stallworth
Cris Carter + Randy Moss
Jerry Rice + Terrell Owens

And now Robby Anderson + Ardarius Stewart join the list of Legendary NFL Wide Receiver Tandems

I'm in a football pool that pays off 3 prizes each week for low score. I have the Jete twice in 17 weeks and that's about as close to a zero score as you can get. It's too bad that there wasn't a way for teams to lose points or the Jete could come in with a negative number. They suck that much.

Poor bastards. Everytime they play the Patriots must feel like visiting your happily remarried supermodel ex-wife.

don't get carried away. I expect them to go on a mini-run at some point, beating enough crap teams that they lose that coveted first pick.

You have to remember, they are the epicenter of suck. If they plan to suck, it stands to reason they will somehow fail.

I can easily see them headed into a mid season battle of the winless with somebody, with the storyline being "it comes down to who wants it (the draft pick) more."

The moveable object meeting the resistible force - something's gotta give!

This year's Jets team is going to make the league consider sanctions against tanking somehow. It's so blatant.

But this isn't the NBA; a top pick ensures nothing. The Jete are tanking because they have no other choice from being terribly mismanaged for years. They have no coherent plan to build a winner and nothing will change with the same ownership/front office/coaching staff in place.
