Day 2 in WV sparring with the Texans.


Apparently the Pats were all kinds of suck on O (depending on what beat reporter you read) so hopefully today they can rebound. Also, happy born day to Trey Flowers and Ben Coates!

you guys think BB will make the cuts all at once now that there is no preliminary cut dates or will reduce the roster to 75 or close to that before the dead line in order to keep the process that wasn't broken and also give the players a chance to be picked up by other teams?

He will cut veterans early to give them a chance to catch on with another team. He'll do the bulk of the cuts on the last day. Increase the chances that a guy can sneak on the practice squad.

The last few years BB has carried about 75 or so players into week 4 and then did generally a steady stream of cuts as opposed to all at once after the game.

Look for him to cut some big names before game 4 as he likes to let players he knows he can't keep but who do the right things extra time to catch on elsewhere.
