Mike Lombardi made an interesting point on his podcast last week, said that with the new concussion protocol you basically have to have two serviceable QBs - it's basically franchise malpractice to *not* have a backup who can come in for half a game without missing a beat. Considering it that way helped me understand why the Pats were so adamant about keeping JG around.
