Develin does have very good hands. I bet on a lesser team he'd haul in 30 catches a year.

Unfortunately for him there are better receiving options on the team but he is very important nonetheless.

no “kinda“ . full like .. no ego flag w Gilmore..

You hate to see fights and getting thrown out of practice but I'm all good with the physical play.

A couple of years ago, IIRC, Devlin got a lot of looks, even wheel routes deep down the sidelines, so they know he can catch. Quite a skill set move from the DLman he was a Brown.

Might get some "dislikes" here but I kinda like Gilmore's attitude and irritating the hell out of the WRs. Good indication that he competes like hell and will do the same vs the real enemy on Sundays.

Same. If there's one guy I don't mind pushing the envelope right now it's him.

He's def looking at this opportunity as a chance to redefine his game & rep among other things.

We absolutely need him to be that "dog" on the field. And if nothing else who cares that a WR & DB are going at it early in camp.

I think its a real possibility he is TE3.

I haven't really heard much about Malcolm Brown this camp. We know he had some "consistency" issues last year and that BB isn't afraid to cut high picks, too.

Could he be in the bubble?

Question;
When do the public practices typically end?
I will be in the area Tuesday August 15

I believe Tuesday the 8th will be the last public practice. The are practicing with Houston and Detroit the following 2 weeks but those are road games IIRC.

BTW . some week 3 (& preseason 2) news

_

DeAndre Hopkins strongly backed veteran Tom Savage: "If anybody should be a judge of quarterbacks, I've played with the most quarterbacks in NFL history throughout my first four years," Hopkins said, per ESPN's Dan Graziano. "So I put the stamp on Savage, and I think that's all that needs to be said about that."

If their play continues into the preseason, Butler & Moore will make 53 man roster predictions tough. Might not need to keep 4 DEs with the versatility of the DL.

from Kyed

— Cornerback Jonathan Jones had two pass breakups in practice. Linebacker Kyle Van Noy and safety Devin McCourty had one deflection apiece.
