Once Sammy Morris went down they had to throw it more. They were a 50/50 run/pass team until he got hurt vs DAL.

He was well on his way to a 220 carry/1000yd season.

A vastly underrated injury.

They might run more this year than people think.

Ah yes, I do remember that Morris injury. I would love to see balance. As much as I would enjoy video game numbers and highlight plays, I would rather see a team that is equal run/pass threat and a healthy 40-year-old QB come playoff time.

He makes Bolden expendable. He may not even be the only one either. I have a hard time seeing Bolden on the 53 this season without the help of some injuries to other players. Though the word is he was injured today too.

Bolden is another tough veteran cut waiting to happen

I think he knew well ahead that his only chance to make the 53 instead of the shadow roster are injuries to either core STs or RBs. Doubt that anyone else will pick him up. He will be on shortdial throughout the season.

I think there is a bit of a misconception that running the ball lowers point production.

In the 5 games before he got hurt they scored/yds rushing...

Granted they had two 40 burgers and 50 burger right after that but they can still put up a ton of points running 35 times game.

Agree. His 1 year non guaranteed contract made that message loud and clear.

Maybe BB knew what he was doing when he traded so many picks in a strong draft year, and loaded up on UDFAs.

Would anyone be disappointed in Kenny Moore's performance if he had been say, a 4th or 5th round pick?

I'd be happy if he were a 1st or 2nd round pick.
