Well I think with Chung they are putting him in situations that suit his strengths. Closer to the line and coverage is anything 15yds or in.

That's exactly what they've been doing since 2014. BB talked about it in an interview at that time. I love that they were able to find what he does best and keep him in that role.

The kid seems like a class act. I'm pulling for him.

I really think a big reason he doesn't see the field is b/c Chung is so good.

He is a smart football player and you have to always root that the smart ones excel physically because it makes you a better team to have smarter players on the field.

You may be right. However, he may sneak on the roster if Cyrus Jones doesn't get his head out of his arse. I'm hearing it's still a pretty mixed bag with him, with more leaning toward some of the struggles we saw last season.

Cy absolutely is the better athlete. Whatever he's going through is all mental and always has been. I want him to make it. He can give the Pats what they wanted in the first place, a good ST's guy and eventually a good corner who should be able to play both inside and out. Can he get through the mental stuff is the question. Camp is long and he has more than enough time to get things straight, especially since there is only one cut down day now. And I'm sure the Pats will give him every chance to compete and show that he deserves a roster spot and a chance to be the team's #3, though I hear Rowe is putting a pretty tight grip on that so far.

Gillislee will be the best of the RB's on the ground. I think he has a chance to put up big numbers on the ground, provided NE takes the balanced approach and doesn't fall in love with the pass like 2007. I don't think they can go wrong either way, but I do prefer the balanced approach.

I don't think JJ is a lock. He filled a role last year but it's not a role someone else can't fill especially if they are better on defense.
