I believe other players deserve to be in the Patriots HOF before Faulk who never ran for more than 638 yards in a season. The season he got 638 yards he only averaged 3.6 ypc.
Faulk was a great roll player, but he failed as a 3 down back, but he learned to control his early career fumble problem & became a great 3rd down back. Let's remember a 3rd down back is a role player.
I can't believe the number of snowflakes in this Forum who think Faulk was the better player.
Faulk also should never have gotten into the HOF before Seymore, Vrable, & Rodney Harrison.
Now I am not sure if Seymore & Vrable were eligible for the HOF the year that Faulk got in, but Francis & Harrison were eligible.
Harrison may have only played here a few years, but he was the heart of our defense.
Dennis Johnson only played a few years for the Celtics, but they felt his contribution in that time was worth retiring his number.
Francis played in a running era, when the Patriots had a great offensive line that was helped by Francis's all around skills.
