Honestly Crowder won't light it up like that again for the rest of the playoffs... If Crowder plays like he did tonight we would have a chance at a title. With Bradly, IT, Horford leading the way, we would have a shot.. but that is wishful thinking.

If we can get to game 6 vs Cleveland I would be content with that. Lebron is just unstoppable. The issue going forward is do you make the pick and sign another max contract? And then what about IT he is going to be 29.. I love the guy but how long can he play like a top NBA player at his height. IT makes it look easy but he is one of the most amazing BB players I have seen.. he is 5'9 driving against guys over a foot taller than him.
The point is, nobody can do it alone, not even LeBron.

It takes a t-e-a-m. We'll see.

That Celtics start reminded me of a certain football game this past February.

Talk about mental and physical toughness. Isaiah had just flown back from his sister's funeral arriving at 4 AM. He then played in this game at 1 PM. Then on top of that he loses a tooth in the game.

Random thoughts:

It's a good strategy to leave Jae Crowder open for 3 when you consider the alternatives. It just really hurts when he nails most of those. I don't expect Washington to discontinue this.

Al Horford is one of the best facilitating bigs in the NBA. It has to be between him and Draymond Green right now.

Smart and Bradley have really elevated their games this playoffs. You have to have players flip that switch to be a contender.

Our bench is way better than Washington's and not too many other teams in the playoffs have a better bench than us. This is key if you want to contend. If we move on to play Cleveland we only stand a chance because of our bench.

I think we have the best individual defenders in the league, pretty much any team we face will see its backcourt have serious issues, if not w/ scoring directly than w/ facilitating movement/team scoring

ALL our guys can hit the 3, i dont expect that to stop...and weve seen when 1 or 2 guys have an off night from downtown the others pick up the slack...and this team is like glue right now, they are w/ it mentally and got each others backs, every single one will hustle and dive

we'll be a tough out for anyone, and only a top 3 NBA team can stop us in a series...unfortunately the top 3 teams are still in the playoffs

Avery Bradley was the difference. If he can play like he has the last 3 games, the Celts should advance.

If we play the Cavs, it comes down to hiding IT on defense, i don't love the Bradley on Kyrie battle.

Against the Raptors it comes down to rebounding, they killed us on the boards and slowed the game down.

More about Horford not getting his lunch money taken by TT again. Kyrie is great at making difficult shots, very hard to shut down. Bradley was great on him in 2015 and Kyrie just made absurd shots.

Horford is 30 with no legs, guys like Crowder need to play big on the defensive boards

I personally think the Raptors beat the Cavs, they matchup nicely. That will be a tough series against them

Cavs in 5, maybe 4. Raps choke in the playoffs, Lowry has been trash.

Tell that to Horford. He's been the best big in the playoffs thus far. That said, I don't necessarily disagree with your last 11 words.

i can imagine he's been the best big in playoffs as others have stated, but this impression lasts b/c i think ppl just are still holding on to what the center position was about 5+ years ago. It's no longer about the post up, shot blocker, rim protector it used to be. Now centers are more agile than stout, and it helps teams like ours that spread the ball. There's less posting up by the big guys. Unfortunately rebounding can be better by Horford, but aside from that he's been excellent, taking advantage of some 1on1 post up opporutinities in paint, making good % of shots & 3s, assists, helping on D, screens

its the new 3pt NBA

16-0 Wizards, I got the +5 correct, that was free money.

The Wizards played 2 games in sleepy mode against the Hawks but they are a very good team, Boston needs a star player.
Oops

...a defensive struggle in first half

Exciting game. Celtics getting 3 fouls called on them like that to get the Wizards in the bonus sucked.

They had to make a bunch of 3 pointers to get the lead due to that. Hope it keeps up.
