This team currently has seemingly about 457 TEs not named Fleming on the roster. That tells me that Fleming is not going to be TE3.

As for Garcia, I know the history of this team's picks in the top 4 rounds, with regards to making the team year one. As I noted earlier, I just used a percentage cutoff, and I felt Garcia didn't quite reach the threshhold. With BB's history of the surprise cut/trade, I tried to take such a seeming randomness into account.

I agree that we each should have a percentage cutoff for lock. I don't consider the percentage of a 3rd rounder being cut to be anywhere near the cutoff.

My point with regard to Fleming is that I expect him to make the squad as the #3 or #4 OT. HOWEVER, if both rookie OT's made the 53,I think it possible that Fleming is kept and that we don't have a 3rd TE.

Before this thread drifts down I want to say that I thoroughly enjoyed following it. Not much I can contribute but have to say I'm amazed of how much some of you know about each prospect. Anyways good stuff guys.

I'd say it's time for the league to expand roster size.
This would be a disadvantage for the patriots who specialize in players who play more than one role.

I thought it was from Van Noy's photo album..

Whoa..that is a heck of a resemblance. Van Noy & Langi look almost as much alike as the Hollister boys:

I had 95% as the cutoff. If you think that's not anywhere near what Garcia's chances are, and that it's unreasonable to put him below such a high percentage, I don't really know what to say beyond "I disagree".

And my position is that, with two glass TEs on the roster, BB seems to have decided that he definitely wants a 3rd actual TE, if his roster maneuverings are any indication.

I do hope one of them learns coverage by Sept

Bill forgot to bring in cover LB .. again!

agreed. but i wouldn't sleep on LeShun. can be bad news for our ex-binkies lewis & foster

and boy . Bolden has a mountain to climb...

It pains me to say this, and in no way want this, but I don't see Lewis here next year.

Yeah, I hope Bolden either has a rabbit in his hat, or a backup plan cause there are ALOT of special teams aces here now, who are younger.
