They're also a dark horse for a Garoppolo trade. . . .
We seriously are. SP had Jimmy in the draft, but the defensive needs are to great. I can see SP trading if things work out. Would hate to see Jimmy go to the Browns that QB grave yard.

Hm? I think they could get quite a ransom from a team like Denver for Brees but haven't heard this. Loomis isn't competent enough to want Jimmy. He'd trade a high pick for Simian first.
Think Jimmy might have to sit a year behind brees

I really dont think some of you know how much we respect the patriot fans and team. But it was the fans that really came to NO for the 1st time and acted like real champions. Maybe you lost the game, but you really entered our hearts as fans of football. What an amazing fan base to not make fun of us when you have years of historic play, and Brady.
Most other fans considered us a joke. But you really treated us as equils, even when you had more right than them to be arrogent, and you weren't.
The heart of NO is Faith, belief, and football. You helped us on forum with our fight with the Colts and your Patriot players should be so proud of their fans.
We will never forget that.

I remember a Pats fans getting pissed because we were planning a parade for the boys if they lost, but thats who we are. We dont burn jerseys and know they try.

The godel thing just made it stronger, and we owe you 2x for making him look stupid

We are . Love our boys so much, and never lose faith like your guys, errr except we dont win so much lol
One of my favorite SBs was New Orleans beating the Colts. I was rooting for the Saints almost as much as I root for our Pats. Loved that pick 6 vs Peyton. I loved that win for the city and region after going through much after the hurricane.

you know we felt that, and there were Pats fans in the streets if you look. It was very cool thanks for helping us win.
Hope you can make it down for our game. Really proud of your fans and Pats they could not have won without you.

@pherein for those of us who have been around this board long enough and appreciate you insightful and intelligent posts, the respect is mutual.

2009 was the year Brees threw more TDs, a higher completion percentage, fewer interceptions and had a higher rating than Manning. Colts won one more game since Brees sat out the last game with top seed sealed up.

Then the media beclown themselves by giving Manning MVP cuz "ughhhhh he's so dreamy!" I guess. Brees was robbed that year. Proved it in the SB when it mattered though.

That SB after hurricane Katrina and how the players responded was just amazing. And add Steve Gleason's rebirth blocked kick statue.

And what does Roger do? Takes a big ole dump on a shiny feel good franchise.

Remember that the Saints (and Bears) have seen him up close and personal during joint practices.

One of the biggest reasons for my hate of Manning and love of Brees. Everyone couldn't wait to hand awards to Manning, without earning them, and declaring the Colts the best team. If I had to pick between Brees and Manning, I pick Brees every time. Just as prolific, but unlike Manning, he seems like a really great guy, and has the heart of a champion. Manning had the heart of a spoiled brat.

Heck, I'd pick Brees over anyone not named Brady, including Rodgers.

It was so emotional. Thanks Steve Gleason. Just one play did so much good.

haha still get teary eyed. Just ment alot to us. Same as Vinatieri's kick
At that time everyone was not just making fun of us for a bad FB team, it was also because we were poor, stupid for building city below water level that was done 100 years before. It was a bad day. Thats all I have to say.

yeah Breees should have got mvp that year , as Satchboogie3, and one more, but its ok. I really dont think he cares.

Thank you so much for thinking about the saints and what we have gone threw. You are such caring fans. But lets get to the Patriots win and how proud we are of you.
Lets see some pictures and you enjoying a well desurve victory.
I drink to TB and his amazing SB win and the fans of patriot nation.
