Even if we lose Sunday, we can't complain

I reserve the right to complain when I see fit ! I'm only around for another 35 years - can't miss out on any complaining !

At least Gronk comes back next year either way. Plus Brady may stay a few extra travel years if we lose. I'm really stretching here.....lol

Not losing. Next year is the run for the second back to back And 3 of 4.
That will end any question if the greatest run in the history of any franchise in the NFL

Roger Goodell is DESPERATE for the Falcons to win on Sunday. That, by itself, should be enough to move away from the "we've done well just to get this far" mantra..?

Win. Win at all costs. Let Goodell take it up the ass...
I disagree completely. I think if Goodell has any rooting interest in the game, then he wants the Pats to win. Otherwise, he really is as ****ing mindless as everyone says.

This is still the Internet, right? I think we can still muster a gripe or two if they lose.

I might be able to come up with something.

We're on to 2 of 3.

Wow you guys are freaking amped up.

How was that a bad post? Am I missing something?

Yes, if I can't ***** about losing I suppose that I can't ***** about style points if we win. He's preemptively trying to keep me from posting in the game day thread... #not cool.

I disagree completely with your complete disagreement. I think another Pats win would bother Fraudger & the Parity Police a lot. It would crush them and they'd be gagging on their drinks like they did when The Butler Did It two SB's ago.

Why in the world would he want his plan to destroy the patriots to fail?

Funny how we both got two different meanings from his post.

I basically took it as a generic "This team has been historically great for a long time so keep that in mind regardless of what happens on Sunday" type post. We've seen that sentiment from a few posters over the last month or so and I didn't see this one as anything different.

I did not think he was ordering anyone to keep their mouth shut if they lose. hahahaha

I took this as, "I am already making excuses in case we lose."

Quit copying Mike Tomlin.

We are days away from the biggest game of the season. There is a ton of pressure. We haven't even ordered the pizza yet and already you're checking out.

You sound like a Falcons fan, just happy to be here, not wanting to risk any emotions lest it hurt you later. You're afraid of success because you're afraid of failure.

Fortunately, no one connected to the team shares any of your ridiculous ********. This is one of the most mentally tough teams we have ever had, absolutely resilient, and they have a chance (and are favoured) to win it all.

This is not the time to settle and make peace. It is the time to focus on the task at hand. Don't talk to me about losing and what you will feel like. Nobody gives a ****. Carpe diem. Seize the day.

If this is all too much for you, maybe you shouldn't watch the game.

Falcons have a great team and might be able to pull out the W on Sunday. If that happens, I don't think we as pats fans can even complain. We're lucky to have seen our team have so much success over the last 16 years. 4 titles and 7 super bowl appearances. There are lifelong browns fans who haven't seen there team even make 1 super bowl.

I probably didn't need to say this but I was just thinking about it today. When I saw the pats lose to favres packers in the super bowl, I never thought I would see the pats get back again. And they've been back 7 times. It's pretty crazy.

Hope our pats win on Sunday but if they dont, it's still been an incredible run.
A few years back, my neighbor visited my house. He was a known Packers fan and they had just beaten Pittsburgh for the Superbowl win. I congratulated him. Somewhere in the conversation he stated "I wouldn't have minded them losing...." It was at that point I didn't hear another word he said. What could he have said? If the world ended that moment.......it would still have meant they lost the last Superbowl. I was left with him not being a die-hard fan. Evidently, you are not either.
