Did the Patriots cheat the Steelers out of Super Bowls?

I just stopped at the store, I have on Patriots sweatshirt, Steelers fan says "you guys are going down", all I said was "I don't know about that". Which that simple statement led to him being a ****, hateful, saying " your team is probably bugging the lockerroom right now". I just said whatever they've never done that. Than got a "yes its true why else would multiple teams complain about it". As i was walking out he was yelling something about Patriots fans.
Seriously Steeler fans are terrible, I literally cant have a normal football conversation with them, or even joke around because they turn into a bunch of ASSHOLES if i try to say anything positive about the Patriots. I want this win so bad!!!
Sorry had to vent don't have many Patriots fans around here. lol

Its all good, win the next two games and everything will take care of itself. Success is the best form of "revenge" and until then just ignore the noise.

I had a colleague who was a Ravens fan talk smack to me about being "cheaters", even though we get along and have no issues with each other, I simply said with a smile "if thats how you truly feel then I feel sorry for you. As they say, never underestimate stupidity in numbers".

I love it!:D

Anyone read that "Spygate the untold story" conspiracy theory book? I knew it had to be from a Steelers fan and it was.

There's a lot of negative things that can be said about that "book." It's basically a message board post pumped up on steroids like a 70s Steelers O-lineman.

The funny thing about the guy behind it is that he lost his job as an investment broker because he was providing misleading information to clients in exchange for money from the company he was propping up. He was fined and temporarily banned by the NASD. With his book, he's doing the same sort of thing: Providing misleading information (doctored stats, theories where the only evidence is in his head, incomplete information, etc) to get his clients to buy his book. Unfortunately, there's no regulatory agency to shut him down this time.

God, I hope Pittsburgh has communications problems again!!:D Let him hear Zolak in their headphones!!:D:D

My GF is from Pitt and before I went and visited her parents i really had no idea that the Steelers were so butthurt about the Patriots. Belicheat shirts being sold on the corner in July

You have to blame that stupid ESPN piece which made this worse.

This crap sticks and no one cares to check the actual play. Even my 8 yr old nephew read the ESPN stuff in a magazine and thought it was all true.

Wait! What?

"They hadn't changed their defensive signals all year"???

That's not stealing. How freaking ignorant is that?

What's next?

"We emailed our playbook to the Boston globe and BB read the paper" ?

Losers need excuses.

That is why i think the Pats community gets a bad rap. Sure when we have lost we have said it was to fluke plays at times. The key is "plays". Legit legal NFL plays. We lost on the field and accept it. Sometimes you don't get the bounce and sometimes we have lost to a better team.

Why can't other teams do that with us?

You must be new to this forum. Welcome!!

This is what I get a total kick out of.

So I coach Girls fast pitch travel ball. I have coached it since 10u (10 years of age and under) all the way up to currently High School.

Since our first year of 14u(you guessed it, 14 and under) we started using wrist bands for our signs because other teams were stealing them. Hell they were actually stealing them at 12u.

We have a sheet we put in the wristband which is essentially a matrix. So like multiple number combinations are actually the same call. Used for calling steals, bunts, takes, fake bunts, pitches, you name it.

WE CHANGE THIS SHEET EVERY GAME!!!!!!!!!! EVERY GAME!!!!

So now I am suppose to believe that a profesional sports team is not changing there signs multiple times a game??? Seriously????

Stealing signs is viewed by many to be part of the game.

I don't coach that way, but many do.

Any way, the hypocrisy can go over that top at times

I just remembered that last play of the Ari/Pit SB. Warner got sacked, and they claimed is was a fumble, but it looked like his arm was going forward. I always wondered why they decided so quick on that. Fizgerald was on fire, a hail mary would not be out of the question.

And IIRC there was a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty assessed on the play that would have put the ball at the PIT 40 had the fumble been reversed. Easily within range for a Fitzgerald jump ball in the end zone.

It would be one thing if the fumble was reviewed and upheld but I thought it was odd the play wasn't even reviewed.

I think the Pats should take an intercepted football if they get one and... well you know what they should do with it.

Should be fun to see the league squirm.

It's against the rules to stick a needle in a ball on the sideline. If the Pats did that it would open up a gigantic can of worms.

Yet several teams have done so without a peep or memo from the NYJFL

It is but would the league dare punish the Patriots for it when they clearly chose not to do so for the Giants or other teams?

Steelers and their fans will never take responsibility for their own stupidity
