I've known too many Steelers fans and believe that they very well may be the douchiest fan base in the history of sports. Imagine Jets fans, but with 6 championships. Winning a 7th isn't going to make them any more charming.
Yeah, I know what Steelers fans are.
To me its what the Patriots do, and I don't care what anyone else does. (The one exception was Manning because of fueling the ridiculous comparison of him to Brady)
I have no problem with anything Tomlin said there. I do think it's not right to give one team a day's advantage though. Play one conference's semifinals on Saturday, the other on Sunday. Flip them the next year. At least then the teams are playing with the same amount of rest. That's fair, and there's really no reason not to do that.
Can't agree on Rodgers.Disagree. I'd be disappointed if we lost in the Superbowl but I can be happy for either Matt Ryan or Aaron Rodgers.
Can't agree on Rodgers.
If Rodgers wins it, namely against us, the talks about him entering the GOAT conversation are gonna start. And he'll always have that win over Brady, which would be a tough pill to swallow.
At least with Eli there's no comparison between him and Brady. To me, Rodgers is Brady's final major adversary.
Can't argue there, and like I said elsewhere, the payoff for beating Rodgers in a SB would be hugely satisfying. And that's why we're just regular schmucks posting on forums. True competitors would rather go out and face the best and put the whole thing to bed once and for all.
He's a dirtbag, just like his coaching staff, team, and fanbase.

Regardless of how you feel about him as a person, it shouldn't change that he's a major competitor. It would feel very hollow if Rodgers were to surpass Brady.Rodgers seems like a pretty good dude and seems sincerely respectful of Brady.
Contrast to Peyton seemed secretly resentful of Brady's success and seemed like a backstabbing fake friend to Brady.

If the Squealers wanted the extra day, they could have earned it by earning the best record.
Why shouldn't the Pats have advantages because of their in season superior W/L record?
I go to the Steelers forum to say essentially what I said here (and I also explicitly say I'm not there to talk trash) and the only reply I get is something along the lines of "we've been infiltrated by a member of the worst fan base in the NFL." Classy.
