TB took the presnap game to another level.
It will remain eternal legacy of the game and point of reference.
Compared to this other QBs are mainly ball-throwers.

This is also one of key reasons for his uncanny longevity - using full potential of brain (relentless study) to reduce the body decline factor ..

But I thought yelling Omaha over and over again makes you the best at pre-snap

Unless you have a good run game. And I think we have that this year. So the D can't even rely on that. We can call 2 backs to run, protect or split out wide. Amazing O this year. Heck, even Develin can split out wide.
Truly disappointing that Gronk is not available but you could be "glass half full" about it and say that his absence has caused Brady to really flesh out his rapport with his receivers and McDaniels to gameplan to feature those receivers, leading to the versatile offense we now see.

IMO, next year should be interesting, now that Brady has this time to build up his connections with his WRs, and then you get to add Gronk back in.

If I'm the opposing DC, I worry about the run game second. I line up in the Nickel in try to stop the run from that personnel grouping. Now, granted, not every team can do that but there are some teams in the playoffs that are capable. Brady is still the guy you need to worry about. Throw Nickel packages out there, try to stop the run out of that, and make every attempt to move Brady off his spot using no more than four rushers. Easier said than done, though. MUCH easier said than done.
If you're able to stop the run in Nickel and also generate pressure with no more than 4 rushers at the same time then you've probably got a seriously elite defense.

Which is basically what it's come down to. How do you stop Brady? Have an incredible defense.

Which takes at least 11 great players... and even then, Brady can still overcome it.

Eh, not necessarily. The 2007 and 2011 Giants could do it. I wouldn't call either of those defenses elite. You don't have to necessarily "stop" the run, either. Just slow it down enough to where you're not getting put in 2nd/3rd and short consistently.

They did have an elite front four though.

Yep. That's always been the case with Brady, though. He's the GOAT against the blitz. The only hope the opposing defense has of slowing him down is to do what the Giants used to do and what the Jets did in 2010: generate pressure with 3-4 rushers while dropping the rest into coverage. But that's the recipe to defeat any good quarterback.

I think another thing DCs might want to consider when facing the Pats is how to disguise your defensive alignments so Brady can't tell what's coming. I think Coughlin's Giants were able to do this.

To be fair, they are the top 2 ever in terms of pre-snap read

Payaton the steroid-cheating choke-artist who blames everybody but himself, #2 all time?

It is impossible for me to disagree with that claim any more than I already do.

I hate that moonheaded, steroid cheating scumbag more NOW than I did when he was "playing". His wife should zipper his nuts when he's asleep for what he did to HER in the press, dragging her name through the sewerage of HIS steroid cheating.

I have no idea who is better at pre snap reads. But what I found amusing last night watching the NFLN and they were going over the Denver Broncos season.. It was impossible to mask how much Peyton sucked. He is so lucky he got to go out on top with that terrible performance. But no one really gives him credit for the Super Bowl win anyway.

we're so lucky to have the GOAT!!!

also enjoyed tannehill saying " they cant play with us " or something along those lines..idiot, i hope they defeat pitt so we can crush them by 30!
