Would you trade Gronk for a 1st round pick, this offseason?

I would package him and Brady for a couple 1sts in a second.

Umm, no f'ing way?

Yes...if he were to get injured again how much would his value decrease...

I hate to say yes cause he is so awesome, but he has some value now.

He is a big physical dude that gets hit a lot, most times by POS that go low.

I hate to say it but yes I would...

No thanks!!

Think about how good Bennet is and Gronk seems twice as good

That's how good Gronk is.

I'm more worried about Gronk himself than I am about him staying here or even playing more.

I have never seen anything close to him in my 57 years on this planet. The more I think about how great he is, the better he gets....Bavarro wasn't even close to his receiving and running skills

He is literally super man playing football...except he's human and gets hurt. I'm sure it tears him up inside because he's a lot like Brady in his obsession with football and the team.

Prayers for a great recovery and good health...with or without football!

No. I'd rather rest Gronk at various points throughout the season (big early leads, late 17+ point leads) and fully unleash him in the playoffs - as opposed to trading him for a 1st.

No bleeping chance. Yes they can survive without him. However is is the consummate professional and a great Patriot.

Draft Jake Butt (ACL) basically red shirt him and have him groomed to take over. Bennett, Gronk and Butt.

Absolute insanity.

Tough question. I don't think you can realistically find someone more dominant than Gronk. He is an alltime talent. Having said that, his injury concerns & possible surgery complications make him a wildcard.

Maybe. If you sign Bennett & Floyd, while having medical staff feel iffy about Gronk's prognosis.
He is on a good contract for at least next season without any leverage to hold out for more. Let's win the Super Bowl this year.

1. Win SB this year.
2. Trade JAG for both Cleveland's firsts.
3. Sign Bennet and Floyd
4. We have 3 firsts AND Gronk coming back (he is like a once in a decade first overall talent) and have him join this incredible array of offensive talent.

Then make next year the 19-0 repeat, three out of four SB.

Hell no, I wouldn't trade the best TE in the game.

We have a playoff bye week this year so trade Gronk threads are more acceptable, even if the thought of dumping the best player ever is crazy talk.
>>We have a playoff bye week this year

this year?

try all years

I agree I wouldn't trade him for a 1st round pick and yes I know #32 and #1 are very different. Lets be reasonable and say its the 10th pick in the 1st round.

I still wouldn't trade him. The reason I started the thread is because I just saw Troy Brown and Felger and whats that trolls name.. Breer? Anyway they both said they WOULD trade Gronk for a 1st round pick.

You can't replace the Gronk.
The ONLY way I would trade Gronk would be JAG and Gronk to Browns for their entire draft, which obviously is not going to happen.

Sweeten the pot, then Yes. 7 pro seasons and he's played what, 3 FULL seasons and he's been 100% healthy in the full playoffs maybe 2 or 3 times...he's always got some nagging injury.
The guy is a transcendent talent, but he's a guy who's only able to go full bore 10-12 games on average. And he's not reliable and doesn't do what the team wants him to do training a d wellness-wise. And he has a meddling old man who thinks he's a 22 year old...

if he holds out, yes, if not, no

Gronk is the Cam Neely of football.

His impact for 1/2 of a season is at such and elite level, its better than a really good player's 16 games.

I know BB is keen on reliability and dependability but I think he know what he has and isn't going to trade it just for a few games a year.

Gronk Inc. is a little annoying I will admit. If the behavior of Gronk Inc. goes in the wrong direction on this, it could change the equation.

No way
