Do you take Adam Gase and this Dolphins team seriously, considering what they've accomplished?

My biggest concern...

...is this kind of sh#t.
thats actually pretty athletic

Miami have won nine of the last 10...it would be churlish to not agree that Gase has done a good job, and looks like he may be the second competent coach in the AFC East.

Do I think they are a threat in the play offs? I think for them to come into Foxboro and beat us, we would have to self destruct in certain phases of the game, but it would be competitive.

The big test for them is next year when people can see them coming. Bar his game against the porous Bills, people had already begun to compensate for Ajayi and that affected his numbers. More of the same next year, and can RH beat you with his arm?

Hey, I have nout against the Phins (bar Schula) In the words of John Mclain on Christmas Eve 1988 "Welcome to the party, pal!"

Adam Gase is a magnificent Coach, and I told anyone who'd listen that he was gonna turn the Fish around.

And anyone who think playing in Miami in December is easy hasn't been paying attention.

Sunday could very well be tough...and losing is far from impossible.

However, if we see them in January, we'll utterly destroy them.

Pretty much.

For some percentage of the players, perhaps overestimation or underestimation plays a factor, but I strongl doubt that for the brain trust (BB, Ernie Adams, et al). It's a cold analysis of tendencies, what has worked for them, what hasn't, different tells and personnel groupings. I'd assume the methodology is the same for every team, for the most part.

After last year there is no way someone will underestimate the opponent. Similarly to the Jets game BB will bash them all week with footage and media quotes from last year.

Sure OTG, as has been said many times losing is always possible. Both are still professional teams and the gap between teams (and players !!) in this league in general is so much smaller than many want to acknowledge. The point is that if both teams play an average game we will most probably win it.

Also, to be fair, I think it's easier to play in Miami in December than early in the season when the heat just wears you out with time.

Their defense allowed Tyrod Taylor to have his first 300 yard game this week. Also 3 TD and a 118.7 passer rating

seems like a competent coach to me..... and there's some nice talent on that Dolphins team. I think they'll make things interesting for us

Can't say enough good things about the guy...

Well it looks like Gase will keep his job for a while so Rexy will need to look outside the AFC East for his next job.

I guess he could stay in the division as a DC, and the Rats are delusional enough to hire him again, but I would expect after two failures, he should be toxic as a HC candidate.

I can guarantee that the Pats take them seriously. And they should. It doesn't make a damn bit of difference what we, as fans, think.

Of course they should be taken seriously........... It's an NFL team with a lot of history, not the Mudville 9. next question.......

Like when Garoppolo shredded them in the 1st half before he got injured to the tune of 230 yards, 3 TD, 70% and a 135 qb rating?

So what was their excuse last year…and in 2013?

No question Gase has done a decent job as a rookie coach.

Their only quality win was vs Pitt and that might have been Pitts worse game of the year with Roeth, Bell and Brown.

I think you can make a Gase for him.

After starting the season 1-4, the Dolphins have won 9 out of the last 10 games to clinch a playoff spot

Their record against teams with winning records is 1-4 and their current point differential is +4, meaning that the majority of their games have been won only by slim margins.

I know that may not sound impressive, but they've been tough enough to pull out close games and are riding a wave of momentum -- despite injuries and losing their QB.

I feel confident facing this team, but I want to show respect to what Adam Gase has done to put the Dolphins back in the right direction. He'll likely be considered for 'Coach of The Year' honors. Sunday will be his first time facing Tom Brady at the season finale, and he's gonna want to make a statement to the fans and his team.

I expect the Patriots to be in full control of this game, but I won't be surprised if they give us trouble on Sunday. Who knows? ....the Fins may even get a chance to meet us in the playoffs as the #6 seed.

Hopefully, each team gives their best effort and makes this game worthwhile for fans to watch! Go PATS!!!!
The Pats will not roll the phins

Going into Miami in the winter is tough for any team, but especially for a northern team.

It would be nice if the temp is in the 60's with no humidity. It would suck if it's 78 and humid though
