Patriots Nemesis Elimination Day! (Week 16 Game thread for Ravens @ Pitt, Den @ KC)

KC is a bigger threat than Pitt in my opinion.

PIT just has a scary offense in general. As for KC, I think Tyreek is either going to go off on us or get shut down completely. Not hugely worried about any team's defense with the Patriots offense. Hence, the better offense is scarier to me: Pittsburgh. I will say, though, I'm glad they won and not Baltimore. Them and the Giants, no matter how bad they are, I don't want to play them (even if just for fear of "divine (Goodell/refs) intervention").

So we all agree we want Denver to win next week so we can have KC the #2 seed who will be forced to play #3 Pitt right?

That's deceptive. John Harbaugh making phone call.

If the Pats did that, ****dell would have the Competition Committee installing QB weight limits the following offseason.

i believe pitt to be the biggest threat. Big Ben could come in and battle Brady. To me it just comes down to sheer talent. They're the only other team that's close to our level of talent. brown, bell, and ben.... i know their defense is beatable, but i don't wanna play them

i'm really hoping that the chiefs and steelers will end the 2 and 3 seeds so we only have to play one of them. id hate to have to play the chiefs and then the steelers... that'd be rough.

Sure but Denver looks like sh*t right now. They are at home and suffered a humiliating loss to Oakland earlier so let's see if they have any pride left. We shall see.

Yes but right now the broncos seemed to have mailed it in. If anything they should try harder next week considering it's a hated rival and they could push them to a 5th seed.

Both teams that made the Super Bowl last season will not be in the playoffs this season. Crazy.

Well If somehow KC has to face Pitt the Pats will get their "tomato can" game. I think most would classify Miami/Houston/Oakland as that right now.

I only don't want to play Miami cause i would dislike beating them back to back. Something about that just doesn't sit will with me.

LMAO, this is a good one

And he's played what, 48/48 since then? Guys good and reliable, answers the bell every game...
Except for the 16 he didn't... He's hardly in ironman territory. That would be J Witten if we're talking reliability but so what Gronk got us a parade.

The teams pretty healthy otherwise and looking to lock up the 1 seed. We have Marty Bennett catching 76% of his targets, a couple of great pass catching backs out of the backfield, Dola might be ready to go for the PO's, finally hit on a WR with Mitchell. Lot to be excited about!

Exactly. I can't see Denver ending their season on a sour note at home! They'll definitely have a say into who wins the AFC west crown next Sunday!

it was kc's xmas present to denver!!:) that was glorious.

denver, 8-8..they stink.

They don't stink they had a tough schedule.. but there QB needs to improve if they plan on being in the playoffs regularly. Playing in KC and Denver is tough.

Could you imagine hosting the Texans and then the Chiefs at home as the entirety of the AFC playoffs? That is a very realistic possibility right now.

They'll keep saying the Pats haven't played anyone good right up until the Super Bowl.

Gronk has missed a lot of those too

He's been there for 10 out of 14 Playoffs/SB games to be exact. But thank you for playing.

You're another troll coming to Troll #1's aid.

Sorry about your Broncos having only 15 minutes of fame.
