This team hasn't made the superbowl on the road since their first superbowl. You wanna be home and hope the weather's in your favor.

'04 team won AFCCG in Pittsburgh also. (Unless you were talking about '85 team winning 3 on the road)

For those who were asking where Von Miller was here you go. He had an impact on the game. :D

5 Yard Penalty. Automatic first down.

Man, the difference in the level of pressure now compared to earlier in the year is staggering. They've really gotten a lot out of these guys. Offensive line is also looking very solid. Brady didn't have his best game but it was against an extremely strong defense against the pass.

People put a major emphasis on HFA that they lose sight of the Bye being more important. Yes it's understandable given playing at home is always best -- I want HFA. Yet a Bye, not HFA, is the biggest factor in getting to the SB. Check the Patriot stats to see what is the most compelling factor for a SB birth and you'll see it's the Bye. History provides pretty simple math: Patriots get a Bye and it's solid odds getting to the SB with HFA providing a marginal better shot. But if the Patriots don't get a Bye at all and the SB becomes steep odds.
Again I don't dismiss the value of HFA, I want HFA!, but the value of the Bye is quantifiable in its greater value than HFA. Basically HFA is three layers of icing on the Bye cake...
HFA can be the difference maker (last year), but ya, getting the bye today equates to winning your first playoff game....in week 15. IMO the biggest factor is always health. 2014 we were healthy, last year we were.........not. That's the biggest importance of a bye to me, rest/recovery and 0% chance of injury if you're not playing.

Despite his issues, Edelman has a realistic shot at 100 receptions and 1000 yards receiving if we have to play week 17 to win. Needs 15 catches and 134 yards in 2 games.

I never quite understood why so many people keep writing "could of". Is this some Americanism like "y'all" in some region? Or just bad grammer?

Because it sounds like "could've."

Huge win, massive for the defense to pick up the slack in a tough gut check type of game.

This is the best win of the year given the problems in Denver historically and how good their defense is.

IMHO this game could not have been more perfect. Of course it was a crucial win that earned us the ultra valuable Bye but it was also A+ for the experience and the film to be used for the playoff level football that is right around the corner.

Denver's pass rush and coverage ability -- not to mention a difficult and hostile venue (noise/crowd/weather) -- just took our Gronk-less pass offense to task. It is very possible we will not face a more difficult pass defense in a more difficult environment in the playoffs. The passing O received excellent real world game experience and subsequent game film for deconstructing, self scouting, what game planning changes were needed, what in game adjustments were needed, what needs emphasis in practice etc etc. Very good fortune for a mid/late December victory providing this kind of value.

We all should pitch in and send Gary Kubiak a thank you Christmas card (or really get into the Christmas season's spirit of giving by sending John Elway a burlap sack of fresh oats for his feedbag).

I notice that the negative idiots from the GDT don't show up in the post GDT to celebrate with the rest of us. Are these guys really Pats fans or just trolls?

A Squirrel with a massive attitude.

Thought it might be the squirrel...

I thought it might be TFB, but he's a little on the higher-pitched side... guess he has to settle for GOAT, not best cussing voice...
