Glad we didn't trade him, huh?
Contraction of could have is could've. When pronounced, sounds like could of.
This team hasn't made the superbowl on the road since their first superbowl. You wanna be home and hope the weather's in your favor.
HFA can be the difference maker (last year), but ya, getting the bye today equates to winning your first playoff game....in week 15. IMO the biggest factor is always health. 2014 we were healthy, last year we were.........not. That's the biggest importance of a bye to me, rest/recovery and 0% chance of injury if you're not playing.People put a major emphasis on HFA that they lose sight of the Bye being more important. Yes it's understandable given playing at home is always best -- I want HFA. Yet a Bye, not HFA, is the biggest factor in getting to the SB. Check the Patriot stats to see what is the most compelling factor for a SB birth and you'll see it's the Bye. History provides pretty simple math: Patriots get a Bye and it's solid odds getting to the SB with HFA providing a marginal better shot. But if the Patriots don't get a Bye at all and the SB becomes steep odds.
Again I don't dismiss the value of HFA, I want HFA!, but the value of the Bye is quantifiable in its greater value than HFA. Basically HFA is three layers of icing on the Bye cake...

That's an awesome pic, where did it originate from?

I notice that the negative idiots from the GDT don't show up in the post GDT to celebrate with the rest of us. Are these guys really Pats fans or just trolls?
