Would have been a much better day if KC had won. Can't understand those that wanted a Titans win. If KC had won, then the Patriots could have potentially treated the last game of the season as irrelevant. Now they need the next 2 to fight for first round byes.
No, the need the last two to fight for the number 1 seed. The clinched a bye today.

We are talking about Ward, right? That is just how he plays. Super aggressive (borderline dirty)? I don't think he cares if Edelman caught the ball, he just wanted to hit him and flex.
I agree. He is one of the few players, who if got their leg snapped in half by a hit similar to the one he put on Gronk, I would probably giggle. He'd be worth the penalty. Does that make me a bad person??

I hope our run defense continues to play well. I still have concerns about our wrs getting open when they face press coverage. It might not even be pretty next week against a lousy jests team.

I hope they have to. I want them sharp heading into the playoffs. Loafing off the weak before the bye is a greater risk to success than the risk if getting an injury.

I trust Belichick to handle any situation implicitly. Rather he have more options than not.

No, the point was that if we DO end up tied, Oakland holds the tiebreaker. Since there's only one game separating them, that's not out of the realm of possibility.
I understand possibilities. Worst case scenario would be we win the AFC in Oakland. But this team won't lose again.

The thing that needs to be pointed out this week is it is now impossible for the Pats to have to play at KC or Denver in the playoffs.

While I would like to avoid going to Oakland that is not as bad. KC and Denver though are 2 of the 3-4 best HFA spots in the NFL.

I'll tell you what, not that they will be going to the game anyway, but DMAC and Butler made strong cases for Pro Bowl nods today.

I still wonder about the front seven and the roles there, but I think the defensive backfield has shaken itself out, now.
