offensive game plan was money - patience with the run, keep it to 3rd and short, take no chances to eliminate the denver big play......count on the defense to pick up the slack, don't panic......grind it out

loved it all

and avoided the game day thread like the plague

I work with a die hard Broncos fan, I think tomorrow is an EXCELLENT day to wear my Patriots scarf and come into work singing " It's the most wonderful tiiiiime of the year." :D

Don't be that guy. No need to rub salt in while the wound is still fresh. At least wait until Tuesday.

What about this Mitchell catch (would be great to have the closeup slow-mo from broadcast).

Its not easy to wait all day in the fridge for the ball to come and then make this kind of throw stick.
MM Magic.

pats lucky denver didnt have CJ who ran for like 200 yds and 2 tds last game

And before you say gronk. well you had gronk last year.

good game. Denver will be better next year

did he run for 200 & 2 TD's against this defense? because i saw a denver O-line that got pushed around all day long, and not sure who the back was mattered much

Still trying to figure out why I torture myself. At one point in the first quarter a poster said to bench Brady and put in Jimmy.

Try it this saturday, it made the game much more enjoyable, have Kirsch Words open and your good to go. And yes I understand the gameday thread is about "being in the moment" blah, blah, blah but after awhile, one can only take so much bs...

Thank you god you did, the first quarter was brutal in there

Semian is trash like Trashweiler. Fivehead Manning at the end of his career, as washed as he was, wouldn't have thrown that pick with all his ducks and all. Game changing play by forum's favorite whipping boy Logan Ryan. The offense wouldn't have been able to control the tempo of the game if they were down.
Logan Ryan is the forums whipping boy? C'mon now. Pretty sure Cyrus Jones would take that any day.

Blount had a bad game looking at the stats.

I guess if i had to pick on guys who didn't do well.

#1 Thuney
#2 Blount (looked a little slow today)
#3 Hogan (only 2 shots but 1 huge drop hurt)
#4 White (some good plays but he had at least 2 drops)

Pass blocking not his strength,. Running won the game for offense. Balance.

The problem that Thuney seems to have is when he has to hand off someone.

One of the plays people were complaining about Thuney was already engaged and the Broncos brought someone late through the "A" gap. That's on Andrews to pick up.. That late defender through the "A" gap has been a boon of Patriots' centers since Wohlabaugh was the center. Koppen, Connelly, and Wendell also had issues with it.. Particularly against the Ravens and Giants..

good game. Denver will be better next year. They just have nothing on offense that threatens anyone.

Booker and Dorsett? Gimme a break, nobody is afraid of them.

:p (heh really though don't)

Anyone know the clinching scenario for #1 seed?

Try my solution. Don't go anywhere near the game day thread until the game is over, and mostly not even then.
