Pats defense has its swagger back. Once again Belichick has outsmarted us all and put together a hard hitting cohesive unit that plays well together.

Jamie who?
Meanwhile, Cleveland lost again. If he reups in Cleveland, we ought to start a pool on how long it will be till he gets another win.

BB has the Vader costume going.

Props to Eric Rowe on his job on Thomas. BTW, he's a ****ing pu**y. Thomas that is. He never fights for any ball.

DThomas is a very soft player. He got thoroughly overpayed thanks to that record breaking season by Manning but everything considered Sanders is what makes the Broncos go and not Thomas. Great job by Butler (and Patricia) of essentially totally shutting Sanders down today.

I just hope our other wrs do a better job of getting open next week. If tommy's gonna lock only on edelman than we are in big trouble come the playoffs. Sometimes you can't shy away from challenging their corners. How about some slants?

They dont need to challenge the best corner duo in the nfl when the defense cant stop the run and the running backs are getting open. Edelman had a linebacker on him a few times too

It was a game plan day for Brady. Pretty much answered the call and helped insure a win. Situational offensive football. Good job by Tom.

d-line has been running a lot more games the past few weeks.....still not rushing more than 4 all that often, but a lot more games......when you have that beef owning the middle, then a guy like long with his motor and ability starts looping and gaming, it makes it tough.....the beef looked especially good against the undersized denver o-line

sheard played well today as well

Division Champs again!!!! First round bye also!!!!

Great win today!!!!! Our defense played great, and I thought our O-line was pretty good!!!

Anytime we can win in Denver and pretty much knock the Broncos out of the playoffs, I'll take it;);)

Denver could still get in the playoffs but it would take a lot for them to do it.

Nice play by Ward when he wrestled Edelman to give the Patriots an automatic first down and let them run out the clock. Bravo. What a moron.

Neither QB got a lot of help from their WRs

That floated pass by Siemian was, basically, the key difference in the game.
Agreed. Where the hell was that Edelman guy with extremely tough, contested catches all game? He sucks!! Ya, I know, you said receiver(s).

Great game by almost everyone and that's not something that usually happens.

Cannon deserves all the love he's getting. Guy is not letting his man interfere with the play.

Conversely Malcolm Brown has about 20 pressures in the last 10 weeks. He's literally taking the next step in his game. Hes not thinking about stopping the run. Hes thinking about making a play. Every time he gets underneath his man or knifes through some space he's just going forward and disrupting. Very exciting. Kid has a quiet confidence about him.

Trey Flowers is a binky and does not stop moving. Got a lil stronger and everything starts with his long arms. Even if he doesn't best his man initially he can create space for himself to attack again or twist up the middle.

Butler was awsome. Sanders is a very tough cover. He was with him stride for stride 99% of the time.

Very nice tackling by Ryan.

Some smart, IMPACT plays by DMC. Guys theres a reason QB's dont target him or his side often. He's a very good player that will make a play. He's not a HOF but hes been very good for a long time.

Lewis and White have to utilized more in the passing game. Their each 1-2 tackles away from a huge gain. Lewis looked great today. This def knocked the rust off him. We have a great backfield.

Bennett and Mitchell are this offenses X-factors imo. They just provde something no one else can. I guess Hogan deserves mention but the other two are electric. There's a big difference between targeting and forcing it to a guy. We need to "target" each 6-7+ times a game from here on out.

Edelman might have the same quicks but his toughness is always there. Clutch. Versatile. Dependable. What a find.

Dev played a very nice game as well. Nice catch and push forward. When he gets inside a TE or wr its over.

Great win. We needed this. Beating that defense, in their place means a lot. For the rest of the year they can look back on this game and draw from it.
