They didn't just never address the false "11 out of 12 balls" story, the NFL told the Patriots that they didn't see how releasing the correct PSI numbers would help. They made sure the false info stayed out there, unchallenged, for months.

AND they made the Pats sign a non disclosure agreement when they told them the truth.....

In a weird sort of way this makes me angrier than deflategate itself, because with deflategate I could at least see how the league probably idioted itself into a bad situation and was too proud to be like 'whoops, our bad'.

You guys don't understand anything. The Patriots will be docked 1st and 4th round picks, and be fined a million dollars because they will be accused of giving the Squeelers 'ideas' on deflating footballs. The subsequent Well's report will show how the Patriots actions influenced the Squeelers to cheat, but since they have never done anything to cheat in the history of the franchise, the Patriots will be blamed for their actions. Something about the Patriots being 'generally aware' of deflations techniques.

Probably Brady gets suspended because he refused to hand over his phone that has texts messages on it. Doesn't matter what the messages are, as his non compliance demands a suspension.

I know the NFL has already taken steps to minimize this story, but it's going to be high comedy to watch the league mouthpieces, like Peter King, spin the reaction as being completely reasonable and consistent while claiming the Patriots situation was totally different.
