Idk if they can beat Seattle but Dallas is legit IMO. A couple years back they went in to Seattle and had a statement win, and nearly beat them last year with Matt Cassel and Darren McFadden leading the offense. Wouldnt be surprised to see a Cowboys/Seahawks NFC championship with either team winning. Two NFC teams with a lot of confidence and swagger.

At some point, Prescott being a rookie is going to matter

That's really the only cause for concern in Dallas, but he and Zeke keep looking like savy veterans more and more each week.

I have a hard time believing our defensive talent is truly this inept. I hate to say it but i think a serious philosphy change is needed on defense. This bend but dont break stuff has cost us several superbowls trips/wins over the years in big games. I just look at the way a team like seattle plays vs how we play on defense and its night and day. Sure our talent isn't great, but it cant just be THIS bad, can it? BB's defensive philosphy is looking more and more outdated by the week.

That Ravens monday night game suddenly got a whole lot scarier. They are a team like the Seahawks that aren't intimidated by the Pats and Joe Flacco has had some of his best games against us in the past. You know they are gonna come in looking for a fight just like Seattle did tonight.

I forgot we have that Baltimore game. That to me leaves 3 tough games left that could be losses. The other 2 being @Denver and @Miami

You can't fix suck. Logan Ryan sucks, the defensive line sucks, the pass rush sucks. There's nothing left really to do with it.

Logan Ryan is better than your two sweethearts Rowe and Coleman.

He is a passable CB2 but some people expect him to be a shutdown corner.

Belichick will give us a competitive defense to go with our talented offense, and that usually gives us a chance come January.

He didn't do that tonight, even with two weeks to prepare.

This is how I feel

They're out of position, tackle poorly, and just generally don't seem to have a clue. I don't think you can scheme away the deficiencies

And thats the reason you are not a pro football coach.

welp...Ryan had a better night than Coleman....not that a difference between two bags of shyt means anything.

just got home from the game...I'd like to know from you guys that saw the game on TV...I saw clear PI in the end zone on Gronk. What was the excuse for not calling it? Or was it not as bad as it looked live and in person?

Eh, replays didn't look nearly as bad as it did live in full speed. I would have other things higher on the list of reasons we lost this game than that no call

The way that's generally being called this year (and last), it was DPI. The way any reasonable person would want it called, it was not DPI.

thanks....I have no desire to watch replays of this clusterfukk tonight

True, but they've had plenty of regular season games that were lost in similar fashion, and they've also had some poor defenses that improved down the stretch. That's where I'm trying to focus at the moment. There's obvious flaws and plenty of reasons for concern, but I don't think they're nearly as bad as they looked tonight.

The defense sucked and caused 0 turnovers.

Despite that we scored 24 points on an elite defense.

What do people want from the offense?

Better performance we lost in the first half when we couldn't keep pace on offense

I can't agree we lost because of calls by the refs, that's just an excuse.

Defense played a very good offense with a sharp QB. So I would like better performance but IMO not the reason we lost.

The offense on the other hand couldn't keep pace with Seattle because their defense was good and our offense sucked. Brady has been lucky since coming back. Lets watch how he does against other good defenses.

That was a good no call at the end.

In situations like that last play I think off setting penalties would be the right call, Gronk pushed off and Kam grabbed Gronk's elbow guard. Just replay the down, that was an ugly play on both sides, terrible way to end the game. But I agree with most folks here that the pats didn't deserve to win that game, very sloppy.

And thats the reason you are not a pro football coach.

By that logic the coaches we have should all be let go as their players aren't doing their jobs.

Not time to panic, but I dont remenber the Pats ever winning a SB without any playmakers on D.

Let's hope so. Because the defense we saw last night would probably give up serious yards to the browns. They simply have to be better going forward
