I find it ridiculous that some people on this board still overlook the rats. They still play a physical style of defense that gives our team problems. They can stop the run. We will get a similar opponent this weekend.

Raiders #1 threat 34% chance of winning in NE
Broncos #2 threat 30% chance of winnign in NE
Steelers #3 Threat 27% chance of winning in NE
Chiefs #4 Threat 22% chance of winning in NE
Ravens the same as #4

I would normally give the Ravens a much higher percentage but their not as good as they were. Steve Smith is older than Brady at WR.

If we somehow lose home field the percentages have to be adjusted obviously.

It definitely wasn't money, he was costing us less than a million dollars. For an all pro/ pro bowl talent under a million bucks is as good as it gets for value.
He was asking for a lot of money. He was a "great" player. Maybe the best player on D. Less play, less time on the field could break moral. Players bond on a team. He was a nice guy.
Other players can be distracted by that. He had to be phased out, or just cut loose. I think it was BBs best option. IMO

I would put the ravens ahead of the steelers. The steelers are overrated. Their defense's not as physical.

I don't buy it.. He did get less snaps against the Bills but, he was probably their most talented defensive player. I don't think it was money related and I don't think it was football related.

Its definitely a fair point, I am just projecting and guessing over the next 2 months. I think the Steelers will win the division. I think the Ravens are going to be lucky to make the playoffs. They have a decent D but there offense sucks.

It always come down to money, one way or another. He would have to be pretty disruptive to be let go for being uncooperative. His agent wanted more than he is worth. Nip it in the bud. IMO.

Very good, not great player about to be overpaid. He was also inconsistent and football wasnt his #1 priority.

Slightly overrated in coverage, letting a power back get behind on wheel route in a big spot, and 2 TD'S to Daniels in another big spot (s). All were nothing more than reading the obvious and staying with your man and knowing whos where on the field.

I like Collins a lot and think he could become something special. Truth is hes not that much better than he was when he broke out against Indy a few years ago.

I admit...I watched a few minutes...saw the ref and knew it was going to be a sh!tshow.

I forgot there was a game on. Can't wait for the ratings...

Just checking in to double down on that. Didn't notice there was a TNF game until I saw this thread on FRIDAY morning. Heck of a job, Rojah...

People actually watched the game?

I don't understand the scheduling of TNF, ok, the games are scheduled way ahead of the start of the season but anyone who follows the league knew in advance this game would be a cluster****. Just like at least 80% of the TNF this year.

Do the league want to put a bad product in primetime on purpose? I mean, can't they sneak this game sunday 1 Pm among all the other games so no one who is not a fan of both these teams will waste their time watching this s.hit? Are they afraid of taking a good game from Sunday and scheduling on Thursday? There are always a lot of games Sunday, ok that this season you can count 2 good games per sunday so taking 1 out may make a difference on the overall quality but anyway, putting these games on Thursdays is a shot in the foot. It's better to not show anything.

If we only knew what possessed BB to cut Collins to Cleveland. I really wanna know what the reason was.

From what little I saw last night, he did a fair amount of gambling. As often as he'd make a good play, he'd end up on the backside of a play because he guessed. I'm surprised Cleveland doesn't care, but hey, that's why they're 0-8. There's no accountability like there is here.
