You do realize OBJ was literally being ripped to the ground at the time because of pass interference and still made one of the most insane acrobatic catches of all time right? He was almost parrallel to the ground AND I highly doubt he had a great view of the ball since it was behind his head. He did it with two fingers and a thumb and the ball didnt budge even after landing on his back with no real way to break the fall. Making catches in pre game warmups isn't even in the same universe as that play.I've talked about this in 2014. Gronk's catch over the middle was far more impressive. I understand how to catch a ball like that. Any gifted receiver would be able to do it. OBJ just moved his arm and body in the same direction as the trajectory of the ball to decrease the velocity the ball would hit his hand at. I mean he does it all the time in pre-game warmups. Nobody was going try to lay him out like Gronk over the middle or like the Mike Evans catch tonight.
Do you have an issue with OBJ as a player or is it a Giants thing? I mean c'mon, Gronk and Evans made fantastic catches, but that OBJ one is going to live on forever in peoples memories and for good reason. An opinion is an opinion and I totally get that, but you don't seem willing to give Odell any credit and thats insane.
