Now that the AFC has come roaring out of the gate with a win by the Horse Faces, I thought it might be time to take a closer look at the non-conference games this week. There are 10 total counting the one already played. Each conference has 5 home games and it looks like the NFC should get a slight edge in the remaining 9.

NE at Arizona is a loss for the AFC. Sorry fellow Pats fans.
Chicago at Houston is a win.
Detroit at Indy is a win but a close one. Indy and Detroit both stink.
GB at Jags is a loss. So is Miami at Seattle.
Tennessee might be able to handle Minny without their TB, but I think Minny still wins.
Oakland's being hyped up this year and they should be able to handle NO.
Cleveland may surprise people this year but probably lose in Philly
Pitt goes into Washington and wins.

When the week is over it will be all tied up 5-5.

After 3 weeks the AFC and NFC are tied with 7 wins apiece. Here's the breakdown by division;

AFCE 2-1
AFCW 2-1
AFCN 1-2
AFCS 2-3

NFCE 2-1
NFCW 1-2
NFCN 3-2
NFCS 1-2

There are 4 more inter-conference games coming up this week and those look like they'll be split also;

Sea @ NYJ
Cle @ Was
Den @TB
NO @ SD

The totals after week #4 should be 9-9

What 2 AFc teams do you expect to win

AFC looks stronger so far. Carolina is up and down (more down actually), Green Bay is a question mark, Cardinals doesn't look like the force everybody thought they would be and Seattle had 2 horrible games and now won their bonus round the 49ers, it's like that car you had to destroy between rounds on Street Fighter, I believe they will find their rhythm as the season goes on but they have problems on the offensive line and their offense stinks. Hell the Eagles are looking like the better NFC team so far, that says it all.
