Cam Newton is loving life during these first few days as a New England Patriot.
Just 24 hours after his contract with the team became official, Newton was back on Instagram with another hype video for his fans.
In the posting below, Newton can be seen bumping to Beyonce’s “Love On Top”.
Newton included lyrics from the song that read “now everybody ask me why I’m smiling out from ear to ear”.
Despite all the early hype and excitement, Newton has not been named the starting quarterback quite yet.
According to Jeff Howe of The Athletic, Newton “wasn’t guaranteed” the position.
Until training camp opens, Newton has already begun working on developing a relationship with Patriots receivers.
Newton has been seen working out with both Mohamed Sanu and N’Keal Harry on the campus of UCLA in the past week.
On Wednesday, hours after the news of his contract, Newton was seen reading up on the Patriots playbook.
So far, it appears Newton is doing whatever it takes to earn back what he lost.
