I predict Rex gets fired after next week. Teams want to get up for the Pats, it's their Supetbowl, so they will count on a new coach being able to get the team to arise to the occasion against the Pats.

I hope you're wrong. The Bills have pretty good players. If Rex isn't coaching them, how are the Patriots going to gain enough yards without all the undisciplined personal fouls and false starts?

You know how Belichick looks for versatility in players, like they could switch from guard to center or contribute on defense and special teams?

Rex does the same thing, except in reverse. He already has an assistant coach, Jeff Weeks, who doesn't do anything. Weeks is a college buddy/teammate of the Ryan's who Rex had on his staff with the Jets and brought with him to Buffalo. Other coaches in NY wondered what he did besides joke around and tell stories with Rex. In case something happens to Weeks, he's got Rob and vice versa.

Well I was responding to stupid comments. Tell me again why an offense is bad when it scores on long plays, because that is what you implied.

I honestly dont get what your issue is Andy. While on paper they scored over 30 points they looked pathetic and inept for most of the night. I'd have more confidence in their OC if they scored only half of the points but were actually able to move the ball consistently.

There is obviously nothing wrong with points off deep balls but if more than half of your points come off low percentage plays (deep ball vs. Revis), broken plays (TD to Salas) and a returned turnover then you might have an issue if your luck in such situations reverts back to the mean and leaves you empty handed.

I figure Rex is gone sometime before half way. Unless by some miracle they improve but that was terrible last night. yes they got 31 points but others have pointed out the obvious on those points already. But Rex is supposed to be a defensive guy, brought his brother in to help and that defense looked bad, just bad. I think Rex can coach but I dont think he can be a head coach.
