Fisher. New market. New franchise QB not playing. New stadium soon. Not a lot of patience for 8-8.

If DET finishes with a losing record he is gone and JMD will slide over.

As long as Brown is making his money and not sucking, Lewis isn't going anywhere.

Lewis is easily the greatest coach in the history of the Bengals, I know that wasn't exactly a tough pole to climb, but it true. By all accounts the Bengals management is happy with him and I highly doubt that he goes anywhere.

Fisher had great teams in Tennessee, how he has lasted this long with the Rams is unknown. He has already had two bites at the #1 overall pick, and has yet to put up a winning season. The Rams have had 15 years of top draft picks and nothing to show for it.

I can't see how Caldwell inspires anyone, its like he always looks like he is looking for his lost dog.

Meh, his last good season was 2008...made the playoffs twice in the last 11 years and zero playoff wins.

McDaniels to Detroit, trades Stafford for a 1st then sends a 1st to BB for JG.
Wouldn't surprise me at all. Stafford doesn't seem like a McDaniels type QB. Not to compare him directly to Cutler, that would be unfair to anyone, but Stafford seems more Cutler than he seems like Brady.

And the NFL wonders why the Pats continue to win at their expense.

I may be on my own, but the Rams looked an undisciplined bunch in Hard Knocks. We had a full brawl, and Fisher basically begging Joyner to play. I wasn't surprised when AD got launched last night. It seems a mess.

Fisher's teams in Tenn were coached to be the dirtiest in the league. It was always a crap shoot when the Pats played them as to whether everyone would leave healthy. I seem to recall one of Rodney Harrison's significant injuries coming at the ends of those assholes.

Watching these retread coaches continue to stay employed is puzzling. They operate like dinosaurs similar to Wrecks. Bravado over scheme.....1950's style.
I remember Brady talking about a Vikings matchup years ago knowing exactly the defense he would see on Sunday...and sure enough the old war horse Vikings coach stayed true to his one and only defensive scheme....and Brady dissected that defense like a surgeon.
Glad to see these guys still in the league and more glad when NE gets to play them

Then look at NE's offense........never the biggest baddest fastest...just the best schemed. Coaching is everything (plus great QB play)

Fisher's security might not be so safe if the team completely tanks and fails to reach 7-9, and it actually looks like they could go 0-16 if they continue to play like yesterday. They are currently an embarrassment of a team led by a horrible HC that is living off a Super Bowl appearance years ago, and it's actually arguable that they are the worst team in the NFL (yes, possibly worse than the Browns).

Lewis should be safe, he is after all the greatest HC in Bengals history and as long as he makes the Playoffs he will be fine.

Caldwell...I don't think he's bad. Last year they fired Lombardi far too late and it ended their season. With Jim Bob Cooter Lions offense looks decent so far and they have a decent team. Remains to be seen what happens but I don't think Caldwell is the problem at Detroit.

Along with Fisher, Mike McCoy of the Chargers and Mike Mularkey of the Titans need to go as well. Those three are pretty much the worst HCs in the NFL right now.

Is the answer to the thread title, "Name 3 morons"?

It sure did and it was the one that effectively ended his career. The Broncos are the new version of those Titans teams. I'm scared for everyone on the roster when we play them, even the inactive guys.

The Lions might actually be good, so I think Caldwell is safer than the others.
