I'll be that Gaffney and Martin are hurt and are 2-4 or 4-6 weeks of recovery time. Because of that, Bill is playing the shadow roster card. If they are available and healthy, he may grab them. If they are not, oh well.

If he were waived injured without a season-ending injury, he would likely seek an injury settlement and become a FA.

I thought that players who were IRed as part of the cuts to 53 were eligible for return?

Have to be on roster after cut to 53 I believe. Cooper, for example could be placed on IR tomorrow and return.

I gotta believe that BB takes a run at Sitton or Evans, that's a ton of talent and experience, both would be an upgrade over Kliene.

I think there are all kinds of unsaid understandings and handshake agreements that go on that we don't know about. It's a cultural thing.
