So how many RBs are the Pats carrying? I've got Blount, Gaffney, White, Develin, Foster and Bolden. Seems like too many though, wouldn't be surprised if Foster is pushing Bolden out.

Gaffney's hasn't played yet. Suggests to me he's the odd man out.

Definitely could be the case, although that would disappoint me a bit. I like what he's shown, and he's the best candidate to back up Blount for early-down work.

Yeah, when offensive players to protect from injury come to mind, the 4th string running back is definitely ahead of the Hall of Fame QB, WR1, and starting offensive line.
