Game Day Thread Official Wk3 Pre-Season Game Day Thread @Panthers.

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

He's been on the field. Quiet night.

He has got a few pressure but Cam is a hard guy to sell out to rush for... If you just go all out rush and he gets away he burns you for 30 yards on the ground so it is hard to pin your ears back.

Kuhn did that right. Grab him and wait for help.

Coverage has been terrific.

That's why they drafted Cyrus

Cyrus making an impression. Good job by the kicker to contain him and slow him down enough to save the TD.

Cam struggling big time. Can't even beat our second stringers.

Not there yet

Probably never will be. Kuechly's just special. He's got this weird knack where he knows exactly where the play is going before the ball is snapped, like he knows the play better than the offense. I'm a BC alum and watched every game he played in college. He's been that way since his freshman year. It's just not a learnable skill. He's not the pure athlete Collins is, but he's athletic enough and I'm not sure there's a headier or more instinctive linebacker to ever play the game. Maybe Ray Lewis, but that's it. His game will also translate better to a 15 year career than Collins' will.

Hightower's kind of a poor man's Kuechly, more limited athletically and his instincts aren't uniquely special in the same way, but to be a poor man's Kuechly is hardly an insult. I'm not kidding when I say he's probably the best football player alive right now, and is likely to retire as the best linebacker to ever play.

Lol these Carolina announcers... "There was a missed block in the back, Ruck!!!"

Time to make the....
