If no other team offers him more money, I would absolutely sign him to a non-guaranteed vet-minimum contract, place him on active PUP at the start of TC, and then see what if anything happens.

Think I saw he'd get substantially more from his insurance if he never plays a down in the nfl than he would from a vet minimum contract.

My understanding is that the $3 million you're talking about was as a result of his falling from a first-round pick to a seventh-round pick; it was mentioned back in October.

Could be. I'm just passing on info I thought I saw..... somewhere. Not confident in the statement.

The Browns released cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu today. I remember people saying he was a first round talent, but he ultimately went in the 7th round because of a torn ACL. Is there hope for him/ would he be good depth for the cornerback position?

Doubt he'd last to their spot on the waiver wire, even if they did want him.

Anyway, its our turn again and I guess you wont mind too much. It really is less painful when you can lean on mr Lombardi ...
We'll see! I'm still pretty high on our chances. But if it's not us I'm thinking Pitt or the pats look real strong. The Ravens are gonna show up too... Which sucks cause I not a raven lover...

You're in the right place, then, buddy.

We have solid, deep and versatile group of Ds. Gives BB and MP nice chance to play around. Expect to see Easley used in different ways. Should be fun.
Yeah I'm hyped to see how this off season finishes. I can't wait for the draft!!

The Bills have signed Zack Brown, great band, no sure how good of a LB he is.

Any word on who if anyone claimed Ifo?

The Eagles have signed the last healthy possibility who could've started at LG for us, Stefen Wisniewski.

Words cannot describe how disappointed I am that not even one UFA OG was signed here.

Raiduhs have had a pretty nice offseason/free agency period
I am not joking when I say watch out for them. They could be one of our biggest AFC threats in a year or two.

Really their only major limitation is Jack Del Rio, a coach who can take your team to the playoffs, but probably not much farther than that.

So Oakland now has an elite oline, with Murray and Cooper as their best skilled position players. Defensively, they added pass rushing in Irvin (not to mention getting back Aldon Smith), along with help in the secondary with Reggie Nelson and Sean Smith. Really, the main question mark (though potential) is there at QB with Carr, and of course Del Rio.

Jags could also be an up and coming team, perhaps even better than Oakland. Bortles/Ivory/Yeldon/Robinson/Hurns is a solid core of offensive position players, and they added DL Malik Jackson from the donkeys and Gibson (coming off a down year) from the Cleveland Manziels.

It's the Raiders, they'll find a way to completely screw everything up. It's not hard to have an amazing offseason when you need to spend 100 million dollars just to hit the cap floor.

I put a 25 year curse on the Raiders in 2001. They won't be winning anything until 2026 at the earliest.

Huh, I put one on them in 1977 but it never took. Glad yours is working thus far....
