Well that is a blow to our STs and is probably a reason why we signed that ST LB. We will probably sign a few more STs and have them duke it out in camp.

They are a .500 team. Based upon schedule strength and how the ball bounces they could go a game or 2 in either direction. That assumes Fitzpatrick is the QB. With Geno .500 would be a miracle.

It not only assumes they have Fitz, it also assumes that he plays like he did last year, which was by far his best year. So that's why I put that as a caveat.

Another point to consider in the case of Gordon, he's a restricted free-agent next year. So even if the Browns are unsure about his long-term future they could still tender him and then see what's developing.

Not sure how you figure that Gordon would be a restricted free agent when he already has 3 vested seasons. (2012, 2013, 2014).

This is why loosing our 1st round draft pick sucks. You could potentially draft a starter who could replace a player we loose when they become a free agent. The money being given to average talent is laughable. Can you imagine what Collins would get if he was a free agent?
