Really? Wtf

And after that the HC apologized to the team for not reminding them to stay inbounds, keep 2 hands on ball and go down with a knee without fighting for extra yards because squeelers would be trying to strip and the enemy is the clock not the first down marker ......oh this is Marvin Lewis' team, never mind.

100% DaB...should have been offsetting. "@Integrity" strikes again

I'll be honest. Penalties against coaches should over-ride any other penalty. Period. That will force teams like Pittsburgh and Buffalo to keep a tighter reign. And the officials have to throw them.

Porter should have been flagged for being off the sidelines and for taunting. That would have over-ridden both of the penalties that Cincy got. It would have just been a loss of down for Pitt in the end..

Really? Wtf
That loss is on everyone, but especially the players who put themselves above the team. Amen to Hill being brought in if it is his job to apologize for what was a team loss... err meltdown. This was the Chernobyl of losses. Scorched, radioactive earth in Cincinnati for at least 10 years.

The Burfict penalty was during the play. The Jones penalty was a dead-ball foul. Any penalty on Porter would have also been a dead-ball foul. So the Burfict penalty would have stood no matter what.

It was a dead ball. Randoms from a team come on the field during dead balls all the time, especially when there's an injury to one of their players.

I've never seen an OC come on the field to check on a defensive player when the HC is already there. I've never seen the DC come on the field to check on an offensive player when the HC is already there. And I've certainly never seen a position coach from the other side of the ball come on the field like Porter did..

Go back and read my post. Porter should have been flagged for 2 different things.. Being off the sidelines and taunting. And, as I said, it's MY opinion that flags on coaches should over-ride other flags.

And no. If pitt had received 2 penalties, the Burfict one wouldn't have stood. It would have been offset by the yardage..

And what exactly is that alleged penalty? We see all sorts of people on the field during team and official timeouts (especially when there's an injury), not just "head coaches and medical staff"

Really? We see position coaches on the field NOT near the injured player? Position coaches who the player doesn't even play for (Porter is a LB coach, not WR coach)?

You're really stretching it..

There was nothing suspect about Burfict's hit on Brown. His shoulder CLEARLY hit Antonio Brown in the head. It was a brutal and devastating hit. Brown was clearly out cold before he hit the ground..
Im not arguing the fact that Burfcts shoulder hit his head. You going to tell me that Burfect couldn't have really blasted him if he wanted to? Sitting on the couch it's real easy to call penalties. My point is it at full speed it looked like he pulled back

That "improve D" coughed up 16 points to friggin AJ Mcarron (spelling?) in the 4th quarter. Again, stop overrating the Steelers.

Who is overrating the Steelers? Everyone here is saying how lucky Denver is and they have a guaranteed win. I'm not convinced Denver can beat Pittsburgh is all. Anyway, the Pats allowed friggin Miami 20 points, are the Pats overrated?

WTF were you looking at? Burfict DID really blast him. That's why Brown was out cold before he hit the ground.. And it doesn't matter if Burfict tried to "pull back" (whatever that means). Burfict's shoulder hit Brown square in the helmet. Every angle showed that.. Sorry, but I knew as soon as it happened that Burfict was getting a penalty for shoulder to helmet because it was plain as day that Burfict was head-hunting. Otherwise he wouldn't have lowered his shoulder into Brown to begin with..

KC defense is actually good, not dirty. That's the difference and why it will be good to face them. We go up man on man and not worrying about the chiefs taking out our players on purpose, just football.

This is how I feel. KC is good and they seem to play a clean game and I respect them. May the best team win.

Worst case, I'd rather lose to KC than watch one of those asswipes on the Bengals end someone's career.

If you're not arguing that then you're conceding that Burfict committed a personal foul.

Here's the "defenseless receiver" rule:
b. Prohibited contact against a player who is in a defenseless posture is:
  1. forcibly hitting the defenseless player’s head or neck area with the helmet, facemask, forearm, or shoulder, even if the initial contact is lower than the player’s neck, and regardless of whether the defensive player also uses his arms to tackle the defenseless player by encircling or grasping him
(Rule 12, Section 2, Article 7)

Wtf were you looking at? He pulled his arm down

You just admitted he hit Brown's head with his shoulder. How can you think the penalty was "suspect"?? Intent is not an element of the penalty.
Cool so every reciever should drop his head after a pass attempt to draw a penalty

its a bs rule thats subjective. How many times have we seen good hits called penalties because they looked bad?

Brown looked to be out cold (or damned close to it) immediately after the hit and he has a concussion. That didn't just "look bad".
