Steelers at Bengals - AFC Wild Card Game

Was there any doubt that whatever in the world they did, it wasn't going to end well?

Well, that falls under Bengals gonna Bengal. Just ask Vontaze.

  1. Dude knocks Big Ben out of the game, and changes everything in the process.
  2. Dude seemingly sews up the game with a pick.
  3. Wait! Dude costs his team the game with a needless hit to a helpless defender.

You get the first down and win the game. You're not crazy enough to think BB wouldn't be doing that exact same thing, are you?
I don't know, it was raining and it had taken the Bengals almost four quarters to finally take the lead. Why take that risk? It just seemed so unnecessary. Even if Pittsburgh gets the ball again, considering how the game had been unfolding so far, it was unlikely they would have scored a TD.

Yeah I think that Bill runs the same play too, but Hill just HAS to know to simply go down when he feels contact. They would've had 2 other snaps to try to gain the 1st down.

Hill might as well not go home tonight until…the end of time.
Hill really gave his best Ridley impression

If you don't do that, you end up giving the ball back to the Steelers with a chance to beat you. You're overthinking this. Every coach in the history of football does what Lewis did, at least most of the time.

NFL Network just pretending Joey Porter based penalty does not exist

And what exactly is that alleged penalty? We see all sorts of people on the field during team and official timeouts (especially when there's an injury), not just "head coaches and medical staff"

Where was AJ McCarron's apology then for allowing his team to be down 15-0 in the first place?

The above is especially true in player injury situations.

Yeah, I might be overthinking, you're right. You know what? It seems like whatever they did they would still find a way to bungle. Never mind my kneeling suggestion, as it's quite possible they would still find a way to screw that up too. :p

To go up to the other team and get into it with their players. He was not working on the injured player or even talking to his own players.

Yeah... They'd have bungled/Bengaled one of the snaps.

Penalty on Burfect was suspect and wtf was Porter doing on the field?

There was nothing suspect about Burfict's hit on Brown. His shoulder CLEARLY hit Antonio Brown in the head. It was a brutal and devastating hit. Brown was clearly out cold before he hit the ground..

Agree- this issue is the second penalty caused when Joey Porter got into the Cincy defensive players
