There is no story here, Aljazeera is as credible as the onion news.
Right. They're so not credible that the report (and video) in question hasn't actually been refuted by anybody.

Do you trust the National Enquirer? Do you know they first reported the Tiger Woods scandals? Then TMZ tookover. A blind squirrel can find a nut once in a life time.
Are you not at least curious with the employment discrepancy?

It's okay if the other 31 teams are so sick and tired of losing to Brady they will resort to anything to keep him off the field.
You are right- sadly.

Lets continue to right the wrong of not enough punishment for Spygate.....

Hardly, they can't even stand by their claim.

You're either lying, or you have no idea what you're talking about. Al Jazeera has specifically stood by the story.

Mike ****a and libra957 are on the same page when it comes to news sources.

I think PEDton's response is complete garbage.

Rather than jump to a prejudiced conclusion, check out Al jazeera's credentials. They have been a very credible news organization. A lot of it is having greater access in a troubled part of the world.

Check out the lies and sensationalism of ESPN and NFL Network, by comparison.

Makes me wonder if this whistle blower approached other networks and ended up at Al Jazeera, because he couldn't find one not in the bag for Goodell?

Thinking the exact same thing when it comes to this report vs what we'd get from those networks.

A few connects below ... 4 of the 6 major media corps.
Not sure on Viacom or Times Warner without more research ... they are the other 2.
The 6 represent 90% of the American media ... CBS is in there also somewhere.

Disney: ABC and ESPN
GE: Comcast and NBC (does NFL games)
News Corp: Fox (NFL games), WSJ and NY Post
CBS: NFL.com and 60 Minutes

Just a quick search ... sure there are more connections.

Gotta love people who think ESPN is a more credible news source than Al Jazeera....talk about uninformed.

Some of these comments here have been absolutely absurd and some completely ignorant.

Al Jazeera is no better or worse than any other major news outlet. We'll see what comes of this (spoiler: nothing).

I agree but I think he will beat it for a different reason.

The NFL wants Manning's legacy to stay in tact, unscathed and pristine so they will make it so.

The PR campaign has already started with their first statement on the matter. It was something to the effect of...

"The league will look into the report because it is something they feel obliged to do"

It's not about integrity here, it might not even be something they want to do. By saying they will look into it because the are obliged to do so they are setting the bar low for their own due diligence.

It may be out of the NFL's hands. We'll see if the local/federal government decides to get involved in light of the Al Jazeera investigation. Doubt they would go after Manning specifically but would look into the practices of the Guyer Institute etc...
