The Pittsburgh Steelers Schedule

We won't match-up well with them I fear them on the outsides and in the middle.

I am not interested in seeing the Steelers on Wildcard weekend in Foxboro.
A underweight Jamie Collins bounces off a overweight Big ben no thank you.
Jordan Richards matched up on Martavius Bryant nightmares of Plaxico

You would be foolish not to root for the steelers at this point. If we see them in the playoffs then so be it. We need bungles and donkeys to start losing. It would help if we can start righting the ship against the texans
Any counterpoints to the above are not in the Pats' best interest.

We want DEN and CIN losing. Period.

For goodness sakes it's not like Collins was on Survivor and ate grubs and grass for 4 months.

I'm sure he'll be back to his playing weight and have full strength in a couple of weeks.

Pats will also have Coleman healthy for playoffs.

Deep breath...

IMO, when healthy the Steelers are the 2nd best team in the AFC. no reason they can't beat the Bengals and Broncos. Hope it happens.
Iam assuming you are saying when the pats are healthy. The current pats team of practice squaders is not the best in the AFC.

Yes, when NE is healthy, they are the best in not only the AFC, but the NFL. Steelers are #2 imo.

The Pittsburgh Steelers Schedule

They play both Denver and Cincy the next couple weeks.

We may just have to go for them to get on a roll and win both to help our seeding cause.

Not sure about that. Steelers would be a tougher match up than either Denver or Cincy.

If we're healthy, we can beat Denver and/or Cincy on the road. We can beat the Steelers at home too, but they will give us a closer game than either of the aforementioned teams even in Foxboro.

If we're not healthy, we'll struggle against all 3 teams, although we went into Denver with most of our top players out and took them to OT despite a muffed punt and bad officiating.

Best/easiest match ups for us out of those 3 teams, in order:

1. Denver
2. Cincy
3. Pittsburgh

It's a win win far as I'm concerned. Hate that team and love to see them lose but they're more than welcome to be our wh*** and help us get hfa

I think the Steelers would be a great matchup for the Patriots in the playoffs. I don't get why people are so scared of them.

Pittsburgh will almost certainly win at least one vs Denver and Cincy, but I won't be rooting that hard for them. I'd rather have the bye and potentially go on the road as the 2 seed than see Pittsburgh in the postseason.

They have a good running game, a better passing game, and a top 10 scoring defense. How ever it works out, it works out. What I'm rooting for is for us to win out. That would assure a bye.

Only if the game's in Foxboro is Denver the easiest match up. Going into Denver is hard.

Frankly, there are about 8 teams likely to make the playoffs who have a shot this year. Those 4 AFC teams, and in the NFC the Panthers, Cardinals, Packers, and Seahawks. None of them really stand head and shoulders above the rest. And then there's always the possibility of a Sneaky Giants type 6th seed.

What other team in the AFC has that kind of balance and success in the run game/pass game, with a top 10 defense and a chip on their shoulder from losing in week one?

They "promised" a rematch in the postseason, and were still fuming about the game weeks later. You think they'll come out fired up, by chance? You can honestly watch that team and come away with the idea that they pose no threat?

It really isn't. If we can take them to OT with half our team out, a muffed punt, and terrible officiating, we can beat them comfortably with a healthy team.

The Broncos, whether in Denver or Foxboro, are the easiest match up of the 3.

I've seen their defense. I'd really rather play them than anyone else.

Plus as you've said they've "fumed" about being up here week 1, and the headset thing will be in their heads all week.

They've got some nice players, but they were held to 14 points with this defense who had barely played together yet.

Beating up a crap dome team at home in the cold, with their back-up 40-year old QB, impresses me about 0%.

At least the Broncos defense can stop you from time to time. Of those three teams, the Broncos has the best defense hands down.

The strange thing is that I would like to face the Broncos and Bengals than the Steelers, so I don't know if it is a good idea for them to win both games, would like for them to not make the playoffs.
