The Pittsburgh Steelers Schedule

They play both Denver and Cincy the next couple weeks.

We may just have to go for them to get on a roll and win both to help our seeding cause.

I'll pass on rooting for the Steelers because I would rather they miss the playoffs than help us get HFA. The Steelers are a much better team now than they were in Week 1 and that's without LeVeon Bell. They have the type of offense that drives me absolutely mad where they torch you for 30+ yard TDs on 3rd down.

If Pittsburgh beats both Cincy and Denver that would be nice for seeding but that also tells me "Hmmmm, the Steelers are pretty damn good."

Yup....that deep ball....how do you defend that jesus

The Steelers may very well beat both DEN and CIN whether we're rooting for them, or not.

The first battle with Cincy was a close, low scoring game, and I'd have a hard time seeing how Denver will beat them. I've thought that PIT was a dangerous team the entire year, and that's due to the resurgence of their physical defense and big play ability on offense.

The Steelers lost to the Bengals because it was Bens first game back after a month off and he threw 3 picks. Dalton sucked. They'll win this time

You would be foolish not to root for the steelers at this point. If we see them in the playoffs then so be it. We need bungles and donkeys to start losing. It would help if we can start righting the ship against the texans

At the very least beating one of the two wouldn't be half bad

feel dirty rooting for the squealers.
absolutely despise that coach..

At the moment iam just rooting for my team to win its games given its injury situation on offense. Rest all can take care of it. Whatever happens ,happens.

One "minor" but somewhat uplifting thing

Steelers play both Denver and Cinci next two weeks. So either they do some damage for us, OR they get knocked down in the playoff hunt, and maybe don't make it. If we are a low seed I'd rather they not be one of the opponents when we get to Wild Card weekend. And likely they will need at least one of these two games and are fighting for a spot so they could help us out.

For some reason I still think we will somehow get a bye. I can't imagine why after watching that performance though. It must be my experience watching them after embarrassments like this before. (KC last year, 31-0 Buffalo 2003, Miami 2004 late... all those games were horrific, and they won the Super Bowl each year.)

I agree. I think both Cincy and Denver drop at least one more maybe two for one of them. If PIT beats Cincy, then we go ahead of them I think. If Cincy beats DEN then we also jump ahead as long as we win out. The only game left of concern is the Jets but hopefully Gronk is back for that one. I just can't see losing to Texans but then again never expected last night's debacle.

Also, I think we might have nearly clinched the third seed last night with Colts loss. Not officially of course, need Jets loss, and Houston loss (hopefully to us)

I'll be cheering for the Broncos and Bengals to lose to their opponent...as opposed to cheering for the Steelers to win.

I am also still not sold on the Steelers as a viable playoff threat.

Yup.
So I believe we are rooting for:
- Pat win out
- Steelers beat Broncos and Bengals
- Bengals beat Broncos

Is that right?

Edit: Then maybe Ravens beat Steelers. ….

IMO, when healthy the Steelers are the 2nd best team in the AFC. no reason they can't beat the Bengals and Broncos. Hope it happens.
