Because it is an "unsportsman" foul. Correct my if I am wrong but if you repeatedly commit those refs can give out pretty serious penalties (ejections, up to even points to other team)

Our we clear now....after last night's Collins leap.=====>Leaping is allowed, and legal if the leaper clears the O lineman. Regarding your statement that the refs could even give points to the other time ....HUH????
