Dan Graziano of ESPN: Brady's camp does not expect Berman to rule in their favor

I thought Kessler was representing San Jose in their extreme long shot case against Major League Baseball. My mistake if he is not....
I looked it up real quick and didn't see his name associated but as I say I was a quite look. You might be right.

BSPN reporters and the NFL Front Office: Just making it up as they go along.

Who was his "Brady Camp" source? A concussed Wes Welker after some ****tails and Molly's?

reminds me of mort

It's coming down to the last day or so to make a headline grab. People are getting desperate for attention and for the ultimate glory of being called an oracle for the next potential story (of the sort)

Nothing has gone our way in deflagrate ...nothing

This is what happens when there are no repercussions for being wrong. Media people just spew out garbage non-stop trying to catch some notice and get some page views.

It's the culture of always getting the latest scoop, no matter how inaccurate your statements are. No vetting of sources... no critical reflection.... no consideration of consequences

We got a judge who's been nothing but critical towards the NFL.... despite what Granzino says, I'd be very shocked if after all this berating of the League, Berman decides to rule in their favor.

I like your optimism but I have yet to see anything positive get ruled in the patriots favor

Even Kraft backed down

Nothing has gone our way

This could very well be the turning point....we'll know for sure within the next two days

Edit: But yeah, Kraft was a douchebag for that....the loss of a 1st round draft pick could have permanent consequences for the near-term success of the franchise. He should've known better

How was it supposed to in the NFL's court?

They NEVER expected it from day one.

You need to start thinking positive my friend. A lot of good has/can come from this – for example if the rumors are true and this ruined his marriage – there’s a good chance that Brady can get his old parking space back.

As much as I am a homer, legally, I don't think Berman can overrule the NFL even though he wants to. Please make me wrong Berman.

I think he is being cute with his words. I can read it as coming from the union/Brady or I can read it that it's coming from people who are on the unions and Brady's side but don't think that Brady/Union will get a favorable ruling.

Its the daily "sources say" thread.

Of course the "Brady Camp" has concerns. Who wouldn't?

The general public underestimates just how badly the deck has been stacked against Brady from Day One. A witch hunt masquerading as an independent impartial investigation, the league leaking false and withholding true information, a rigged appeal process and a Catch 22 style collective bargaining agreement. The fact that this has gone on as long as it has and that Brady/NFLPA has any chance at all is: 1) miraculous; and 2) a testament to just how badly Commissioner Scheisskopf and the Goon Squad have screwed things up. Scheisskopf could have gotten away with almost anything and he still somehow managed to push things way too far. That's a remarkable accomplishment.

Nevertheless, the league continues to leak and spin to manage the narrative. Whatever decision comes down, just watch the NFL spin machine contort itself in what will prove to be a glorious but vain attempt to put a glossy shine on this increasingly foul turd.

Since this story broke, it has bee blow after blow after blow. We need some good news!
